So, I'm near the end of my lease for my EX hatch... I'm genuinely curious to know if other current 10th Gen owners (leasing or buying) are planning to keep their 10th Gen Civics - sedan or hatch - instead of getting an 11th Gen Civic.
I have a 2019 Civic Hatch EX and honestly it's been a...
Here in Texas, we have:
Regular - 87 octane
Mid - 89 octane
Premium - 93 octane
Occasionally, I'll put in some premium. My butt-dyno says there's a difference. This last time, I went ahead and put in the mid-grade. Butt-dyno was like WTH? Can't really say there's any difference. Why do they...
Not sure if anyone has noticed but traffic on surface streets and highways have significantly sped up in the following weeks since Covid-19 and stay at home measure have taken effect. I usually drive 5-7 miles over the limit but people in all types of cars and trucks are blowing past me like I...

The review was meh. But it’s the comments that crack me up. Practically every comment post starts with or includes the word, “ugly”, in their reply; it’s a running joke to rag about the design.

Weird. I've noticed lately that a bunch of prior generation Civics are racing me off the line at stoplights. Modded ones, stock, you name it. Never really had any other 10th gens do this.
And I don't mean like they're slowly pulling away. I mean like they're chirping the tires and flooring it...
My '19 hatch is not even a year old yet and seemingly outta now where, the battery died. Roadside came out and jumped it and now I'm sitting at the dealership waiting on a new battery. The service guy acted like, "yep, another dead battery replacement" when I told him what happened.
What is up...
No, this isn't a race thread.
I had to get a rental (for work) and the rental got me a 2019 Chevy Impala. I didn't ask for it that's what was available.
Exterior is good-looking full-size sedan. It was painted white and the interior was fitted in gray cloth. The engine was a V6 (305 HP, 264...
Washed my car yesterday and took her to lunch today and walked out to see this:
Spent the next hour removing the etching from the toxic bird poo. Had to clay bar, then polish and finally re-wax her to fully clean condition.
Pro tip: get bird crap off the paint ASAP. I was only away for an...
Anyone have experience with this detailing spray? I saw a vid where it was used after a wash and prior to drying. Looked good and I'm interested in it. But I wanted to see if anyone has had first hand experience with it or similar sprays...
Caught this clip on Instagram and 3 things popped in my head:
1. I dig the front bumper
2. Drive “jammed” the e-brake to make the car do what it does in the clip.
3. Is he gonna eff up his brakes???
I'm selling the set of 4 wheels and tires. There's nothing wrong with them at all. No nicks or scratches. The tires have about 5,000 miles on them. $700. Pick up in the San Antonio area.
I'll get right to it... Dr. Colorchip works really well. It's not cheap - I think I got the least expensive starter kit ($45) but that should last for quite a few rock chip touchups. I've had it before when I had a Lunar Silver EX-T and today I received it for my Sonic Gray EX hatch. The color...
So, I read up about and saw some reviews about Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax and was very curious about the results. So I bought it a few weeks ago from Wally World for $14 and used it on my hatch.
The application is very straightforward. Wash the car, while still wet, spray the HCW on the...
Would it be weird to only tint the side windows and not the back glass on a hatch?
My reason is I prefer to see as clearly as possible especially at night out the back and I figure with a semi dark tint on the sides it will make the back appear somewhat darker anyway.
What do you all think?
The other day I was cruising on the highway and saw this unusual vehicle on the same stretch of road... At first I thought it was a late model Corvette but it was waaaay lower and wider. I got within two car lengths and the driver punched the go pedal. The exhaust sounded amazing and he walked...
I apologize if I'm beating a dead horse and, yes, I've posted on a couple of other threads but I wanted to review these new Hikari LEDs and let people who are on the fence or unsure about upgrading their halogen setup that these updated LEDs are very good. And for the price: sub $50 it's about...
