I spoke with Milton back when I was searching in July. He was cool and promised me he’d put me on his list. He told me he’d call me when they get their next allocation. I saw a couple of them on their website in Aug/Sept, but that call never came. So try to get a deal done, don’t get put on a...

Anyone in the market should see if you can get this one at MSRP. They were super easy to deal with for my out of state deal.
  3. Honda Civic Type-R Over sticker dealer naughty list.

Pretty sure you’re losing power with anything less than 91. The reason we don’t get 316 HP like other markets is because our baseline for premium is 91.

Is there a picture out there that shows the spacers still installed?

Wait it out. 400 miles in for me and I’m so happy I didn’t buy my runner-up WRX that was $130/month cheaper.
  6. So what did you name your R?

If I ever get white wheels I’ll name it Keiko.

  8. Metallic grinding noise

I think I came across another thread where it turned out to be something with the rear brake being constantly engaged.
  9. Sparco or Recaro Car Seats

I ended up going with this since I can’t get a Recaro in the US anymore: https://www.diono.com/us/product/radian-3rxt-2020/
  10. Found a 2020 Type R at MSRP, have some questions

I hate that black will never be perfect and have accepted that there will be lots of battle scars on it. I wanted the car more than I wanted a color. If perfect paint was a top concern I would’ve stayed away from black.

South suburb of Portland. Montway was alright. They always answered and responded, but they weren’t very helpful in providing updates on where my car was. The trucking company gave 0 updates, so I was worried the whole time because of their crap reviews. The big transporter brought it to a...

You build a car and then search inventory on Honda’s website. Not sure if this link will take you there or if it was specific to me: https://automobiles.honda.com/tools/inventory-results?vehiclemodelseries=civic-type-r&modelYear=2020 You have to be kinda specific with your zip codes. I had to...

I ended up going with Montway. Their price fell in the middle of the pack and they’ve been responsive. The company they hired, Fast Freight Trucking, not so much. I originally said yes to RoadRunner Auto Transport, but their reviews about bad customer service turned out to be true. I couldn’t...

I’m so close to the finish line. MSRP from Leith Honda in Raleigh, NC.
