aw man you aren't too old! I'm debating between 18" konig oversteers, 17" enkei ts9 or ts10, among a few others. Those are the top contenders. 18" vs 17" is purely based on my budget- I prefer 18s. What did you end up decding?
Thanks for the advice man! I bought enough to mess up once along with a kit that came with some tools (blade, squeegee, etc). I'll definitely remove the rubber and mirror. Did you use a heat gun for a quick seal?
I think these are some clean wheels and for the price them seem like snag. How have they held up? I'm trying to get 16x7 to replace the stock steelies on my LX.
Looks dope. Will look even better with new wheels, I'm sure. How did you go about deleting the chrome on window trim and front/rear bumper? Also, do those visors cover the entirety or the trim or is the last bit in the rear windows not covered?
I think it look so sleek the way it is now personally. I love the blackout look, trying to the same. I think when the emblems are left chrome it makes it look more OEM. Obviously personal preference. Looks nice though! How did you do the window trim? Looks like the visors don't cover the last...
Is this kit any more reliable than just getting it vinyl wrapped professionally? Local body shops have quoted vinyl for window trim and front and rear bumper at $300-400 and getting it painted would be like $700-800. Makes me wonder which is the best option for price
I am having the SAME issues. What the heck is that material anyways? It scratches and scuffs SO easily. I have yet to find a solution. I've heard heat guns, but given the texture (woven twill look) I don't think that is a good idea. I've tried interior scratch remover, baking soda and water, IPA...
Cats are the worst things ever. I swear their lifeblood is being destructive and a general problem. Why anyone would have a vile animal like this in their home is beyond me. Since you are dealing with some outside fur-devils, I saw someone suggest peppermint, either that or orange spray would...
I have the same problem. I can't tell what that material on the door panel is...looks like faux carbon fiber or something? Feels like vinyl. Seems to scratch very easily. I thought about taking a heat gun to it but given the texture (the woven, twill kind of feel to it) doesn't seem like a great...
Looking into deleting the annoying looking chrome trim around windows, front and rear bumpers on black 2020 civic. I looked up some posts on here about chrome deletion and have only seen people talking about vinyl wrap. I want to do it myself bc the custom shop quoted me at $300 for vinyl wrap...
It looks great! Has it held up pretty well? No peeling or bubbling? I'm debating paint vs vinyl- paint is more expensive and time consuming but seems more durable?
I am also looking into deleting the chrome around the window trim as well as front and rear bumper. Was gonna do vinyl at first but figured that won't last too long before peeling/bubbling. Was quoted like $700 at a local custom shop- figured I'd see if I can't paint it myself. Are you trying to...
If i go with a ceramic spray is a ceramic detailer needed? I have Mother's instant detailer that came with a claybar and also bought a McGuire's one that is specific for black cars.
Damn everyone is mentioning Turtle wax hybrid or ceramic stuff...I've been riding with Griot's products because I really like the car soap and interior cleaner and detailer, so I just kept with that brand. I wrote it off as "your grandfather's wax" but sounds like Turtle might be worth a closer...
