  1. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Can confirm, wrapping over the edge is a bit frustrating. Ours doesn't have a spoiler but we did the entire trunk/parts behind the plate, and the hardest part was going around the lip and around the compound curve at the same time. Lots of heat/post heat/patience
  2. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Vortex generator kind of sounds like an evil villain's weapon. Didn't do anything to my Civic today, but we did quote on a wrap install for one - I love when people come by the shop with the same rig as me <3
  3. Circular Item

Looks like a leftover from manufacturing? It seems to depict the steeringwheel being wrapped or something removed from it, or snapping off? I don't have a clue lol
  4. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Well, it wasn't too bad except for a few parts under the plate, there are plastic posts that the vinyl didn't want to lay over nicely. But, I had a heatgun and a good squeegee so it worked out alright except for one wrinkly bit. The hardest part was patience :confused1:
  5. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

I wish enough of it were laying around to do more! I'm going to gave to order some :O Also today, I went and bought colour matched touch-up paint, because someone opened their door into my car and dinged it ? I've only had it for 2 months!
  6. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Last few days, I've been playing around with the scraps of 3M Psychedelic Flip that we have around the shop. I'm a designer/printer, so I usually don't install... but I wanted to give it a shot and it turned out okay. I just did the top of the trunk, behind the plate, and that bottom chrome bit...
  7. Repairable or Totaled?

This is no joke. I had a kid run a stop sign (not literally ;) ) with his dad's Mercedes and strike my previous car. City residential speed, no bags. The aesthetic damage was minimal and I drove it home, I thought it just needed a new front bumper and maybe buff out the hood, a door... The...
  8. Got my civic wrapped

    OOOhhh that colour flip tho!
  9. Does driving a 2020 Civic in Sport ECO use less power, or should ECO mode be turned off to get full power?

Uh is that something I have to worry about? My wife and I share the car but it's mostly me driving. Not a feature anyone talked to us about anyway
  10. Hood wrap DIY?

Not surprised by the cost, since it's a premium vinyl and they've got to mark up the install too. If you're doing it yourself, highly suggest buying enough that you've got extra around the edges, because you really don't want to overstretch, especially with carbon fiber pattern. Getting a...
  11. hood wrap

We wrap with vinyl at work, it's by square footage and the rolls usually comes either 54" or 60" wide, so it's just a matter of measuring the space and adding 2-4" or so on each side for some stretchy finger room. Installation is usually the part that is most expensive.
  12. why did you buy a civic?

We bought one this week after I've been enviously admiring the snazzy redesign for about 5 years. I love the taillights and rear, especially the hatchbacks. And after the text drive we couldn't say no.
  13. Does driving a 2020 Civic in Sport ECO use less power, or should ECO mode be turned off to get full power?

When we bought ours last week, our dealer suggested Sport for red lights and snappiness but he figured we'd never use the "Low" ever
  14. New Here? Introduce Yourself!

Hey folks, been lurking for the last month or so before we bought our 2020 EX sedan last week. Loving it so far so wanted to join the community as well! I don't know a ton about the mechanical parts of cars, but my day job is signage and vehicle wraps so if anyone had vinyl questions I might...
