IOS10 is now officially out and I've updated my phone. It has made some tweaks to CarPlay as well. Audiobooks are now playing for me without a problem. I have not tested voice mail.
I'll add myself to this thread. It does not work. I've googled it and I've seen people post (even on Apple forums) but no answers. The first time I noticed an issue was while trying to listen to my Voicemail (through the phone app obviously). The voicemail will not push audio either, just shows...
Thanks for the input guys.
You can also see the creases in the leather follow the same direction as that white rash which leads me to believe it wasn't just a rash from the button on my pants. Plus the scratch from me sliding in would the total opposite direction, in theory. Just imagine what...
I feel, at 4k miles, the leather should not be showing this type of damage. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think this would be a warranty issue to bring up at my first oil change? I feel like i'll have to fight the "you had something in your back pocket" fight. I had my Solara for...
I'm pretty late to the conversation on this (16 pages in), but I have the same thing right above my driver door and on the back pillar behind the back doors. I know exactly what it's from; from leaning on the car while washing it. I'm not use to having such delicate cars. I don't even put...
The more I use CarPlay, the more I think it's trolling me. I was listening to FM radio and was also charging my phone. I decided I wanted to look at my phone for one reason, or another, and it automatically cuts off my FM Radio and turns on CarPlay; what the heck? Also, one time I was using...
I'm an iOS user and I have the same issue. I don't always want to use CarPlay because it kind of limits the use of the actual phone. Plus, I don't want to plug and unplug the phone a zillion times. I hope it gets updated some how because I like the album art to show up all the time.
I wish they would stop cutting off Siri when the turn signal initiates the side mirror camera. so many times I've completed recording a message and was ready to send and then I made a turn and lost it all.
I thought someone said that apple's carplay resides and is updated from within the device, not the radio. But I hear people talking about Honda having to push an update. Hopefully that is not the case.
Does the CarPlay GUI feed from the iPhone or is it all loaded (and static) in the head-unit until the head-unit is updated manually? So when IOS10 is updated on my phone, will CarPlay features automatically update? If not, do I have to take it to Honda for updates? No other way to push updates...
Curbside Tinting. He was referred to me by a friend. But he said he didn't mess with the outside of the window or need to get down in that crevice. It's going to annoy me now.
Exactly. I don't know why CarPlay isn't wireless. I put my phone down beneath the shifter next to my right leg. If the phone isn't plugged in, the iphone6+ fits nicely sideways on the rubber mat in front of the shifter...but it plugged in, it's too wide. Maybe there's a low-profile...
