Oh no I made simple mistake about a car I've owned for a month!
It might have one but it may aswell not. Saw it after so many quotes telling me I'm wrong.
I'll have to say it hardly does anything, mine still looks clean but the car gets dusty in a hurry. Replaced it anyway but I doubt the...
Yes I found it, I think its easier to have a flap in the engine compartment. Usually you change your engine oil/filter, air filter and cabin filter in one go. Having it in the glove box area makes an extra walk around the car and I have to crouch in/on the seat vs reach over the fender.
I stand...
I'll have to look again, didn't notice it in the list of filters when i was going through them on the tablet at crappy tire. Usually do my engine/cabin filters at the same time.
Last few cars I had the cabin filter was always accessible via engine compartment never thought to look in glove box...
This is my biggest gripe with new cars.
When I was shopping around I wanted the base model with the biggest / best motors but you can't get an upgrade in drivetrain without $5-$10k in useless tech, fake leathers, non functional scoops and colourful stiches.
I went from wanting to buy something...
General maintenance like fluid changes and bulb replacements don't require mechanical inclination. Not being "mechanically inclined" is cop out. My 4 year old knows how to do an oil change he just can't crack the drain plug or filter loose.
Are you suggesting that because there are crooks in all industries it makes it ok? We're talking about car dealerships here, not dentistry and kinesiology.
I'm strongly suspicious you pay excessively for oil lube and filters routinely and are upset others are saying its a scam.
Theyll say either or to play the CYA game but realistically it would be caused by RPM and engine run time. If you don't drive much I would wait until the mileage.
Not sure which complaint of mine you're referring to, I've mostly made valid points and unfortunate observations. However to answer your first question and keep the list short to just one or two civic specific examples, door actuators have been used as far back as the 50s, and automotive...
My only complaint about my econo box is the quality is lower than the car's 30 year reputation. Its definitely annoying to prematurely replace components that have been manufactured and in cars for well over 50 years.
What is wrong with hating bad industry? I hate a lot of industry, have you...
In my experience 4 banger econo boxes are always full of rattles shakes and vibrations.
FWIW, my 2016 2.0 idles between 600-700 and vibrates/shakes just like every other econo box I've owned over the years.
I think OP just didn't notice before because of new car excitement.
It's an econo box...
