Once you take the bumper off, if i remember correctly there's just 1 screw and 2 tabs on each reflector. I'm gonna disassemble mine again hopefully this Saturday to install a new module from exledusa.
I tried taking the tape off to show the wiring but I couldn't fully take it off without cutting it but I had an insulator over it that I got from my job. I just put that tape as extra since I tend to worry a lot.
I have a rockford fosgate sub in the car but wanted to add the speakers and tweeters and yes sure I can help you with any questions about the installation just send me a message and the custom drl you mean the led fog lights.
I've read only that focal are high quality speakers and they have good reviews wherever I looked for having clear sound. I've never have heard them before but I want to give them a try.
Yeah they defintely didn't. My honda technician over here said that he doesn't know what the other dealer was thinking allowing a car to go out in that condition.
Update: They fixed my car this morning, it turns out that the dealer in new york that it was last in left the intake hose off. My local Honda resecured the throttle body and the cars back in action. I still have to fix the oem wireless charger and reconnect my led fog lights which I don't know...
That's horrible. I know a lot of the people that work at my honda dealer and my family has had Honda since I was a kid but this was the first car to give me such a problem. The dealer that it was brought to was horrible as well as their customer service and they did scratch my car to add to all...
They fixed the tcm that was broken but I called my technician that works at the honda dealer where I live on my way back and explained whats happening and he came to check it, he believes they messed up my cars turbo and it's gonna have to be replaced. My local one has never given me any issues...
Drove 2 hours today to get my car back. Horrible dealer service, when the tow truck first dropped of my car they didn't even know where the keys where and now I picked it up and they lost the car. After 30min they find it and now it's in worser condition. They fixed the part but now lane keeping...
Oh I never knew that they only cover that much when I called they didn't know anything about it and after talking to a supervisor, they only explained so much.
It was a paper saying that the tow truck company took the car, it had my vehicle info written in it and I only had to sign it and write some more information and got the copy.
Yes I called Honda Roadside Assistance. The tow truck guy made me sign a receipt and they want me to send that. Although I don't know why since they have all this information in their system already.
They said that if I pay for a rental they can reimburse it after I get my car back but I have to sent out a letter to Honda Roadside Assistance with the receipt from the tow truck, repair order, receipt of rental, vin number of vehicle, serial number and policy number, reference number.
No they had to order the part but because of new years it won't arrive until Thursday and then I have to wait for them to install it so my guess is probably Friday or Saturday I'll get the car back.
Yes but it's 2 hours away from where I live, it got stuck around 6pm on Thursday and Honda first sent out someone to Jumpstart it and he arrived late and then a tow truck that arrived late also at 12:30. I lost the whole day and ended up helpless in the city since I've never taken trains before...
I've driven in rain before but not for to long but this time I spent hours driving out there. I'm hoping that it's not the cause and I'm wrong but until Honda figures out whats causing this to happen, we just gotta hope for the best.
Yes I'm worried about that since I won't have my car back for a week because of new years. So if there's another heavy rain I won't be looking forward to getting my car towed again. Let's just hope they figure out the cause as soon as possible.
According to the honda tech line that Honda sent out, they said for now to replace the tcm. It's under further investigation but it seems to be that something is getting wet causing things to go wrong.
Update: It's the transmission control module. Honda is changing it and there is a possibility that there will be a safety recall on all 2016 civic cvt. Reason why this occurs is still under investigation by Honda.
