Put this in on first clutch by myself, 2nd one was by Honda service. Im at 340tq, 330hp tuned FBO since 10k miles.
The factory clutch lasted almost 30k miles. The first ACT lasted almost 50k miles. On my second ACT with 99k miles on my odometer. I drive hard going to freeway speeds then cruise...
I never said heavier is better, stop being a keyboard warrior please. And those other options cost more in R&D than just throwing on big wheels. Plus those other options do not weigh enough. You must still be on stock wheels cuz you will immediately feel the difference just from going 20 to 18...
So im saying the vehicle needs to weigh a certain amount to have X amount of torque and hp to be sold in America along with crash rating of X in certain fields. Those wheels weigh over 50lbs each with tires. Thats 200lbs combined and that brings the weight up from 3100lbs to 3300lbs. If you look...
IMO...in order to be able to sell in the USA you have to be a certain weight to power ratio, those wheels and tires helped bring the weight up alot..so much that now you can sell it with 307hp. Those wheels are only good at 70mph plus otherwise they hurt your entire drivetrain.
Need a new one, underneath is trash so 300, paint and prime 300, ppf is 300 for custom part so maybe 850 to 900 plus tax lol. My front clip is not exactly stock paint... its actually lighter, was gonna do more paint work down the road so that pre painted one is not gonna match
Welp, as a daily i can see why this happened and expected but still sucky. Took out my lower driver side lips corner. Burned right through the PPF, paint and even a little black plastic. Its hard to see but we all know our scratches and dings dont we😪
Wow its that easy, thanks fellas. Hope she passes smog. Just had the stock cat put back on and 2 studs broke and the hot side of the turbo went to a machine shop for thread repair. $750 later and i still havent even paid the smog or reg at $330 lol like ill gladly just pay a fine of $1000 and...
Im not afraid of the bottom end going out. Im afraid of the head gasket lifting prematurely with the added power. Since im around stock ish levels, there's less chance of it happening. Im already at 90k miles in 4 years. So in like 3 years ill be rod/piston/je pro HG, p700. Til then i get to...
From what i see...burnt pretty good with alot of uneven wear on the disc which means someone is riding clutch. Youll need less clutch to engage all gears once the mass of the vehicle is moving which makes every gear after 1st easier to go into unless your at high rpm making the disc material hot...
