I have already done this and I honestly was not aware or even thinking about my controls for my vehicles system or any of the other management the stock radio handles I guess I assumed it would automatically control everything including HVAC.
I'm so mad after spending $500 on radio and install...
"Knock Count" = This parameter is a reflection of the ECU's misfire monitor. It is NOT an accurate reflection of anything other than misfire events. When will you see these normally? Startup, rapid throttle closures, rapid throttle inputs, rapid release of the clutch pedal, and sometimes at idle...
This should be proof enough to what I've done to the motor that's all I'm going to say like I said it's not bragging rights I just didn't want to die in this slow ass POS
Honestly I shouldn't have wasted this much time on this little motor it's not impressive I've had over 60 cars in my life multiple show cars multiple 700 + horsepower multiple twin turbo. Really not impressive it was more a goal for me to figure out how to make the car crackle when nobody would...
I'm running a bit under 300 HP on my CVT with quite a few mods and bolt ons pretty impressed with the CVT even though I feel you should go straight to aftermarket intercooler CVT cooler oil cooler and anything else you can cool your fluids with these suckers heat up real hot and that's when...
This is the closest I've gotten 2A crackle tune i dont believe the ECU is allowing the car to do this from a park /neutral position only from a roll which is no means a two-step or race-related. Sounds cool scares the s*** out of tourist on the Vegas Strip but definitely not something you want...
As far as I know you can't Two Step or anti lag CVT because the ECU and drivetrain were never meant to B redlined and drag race. This car does not come with the same features as a SI does if you want a crackling motor keep this car to get groceries and enjoy your 41 miles a gallon buy yourself...
I actually spoke to Derek and considering he's the one that did my tune in my car I wasn't worried about it I already spoke with him about what I did it's stable
I ran it on the interstate to 120 at 113F. Run beautiful the faster I went the lower the knock count went from .83 to .43 . Once the new fuel started running through the system.
Starts and runs stable now .49 to .50
If some of you are experiencing higher than usual knock cntl you might want to change gas stations or try running techron. Originally once I tuned my Civic was running .49 as well as 50/50 100 octane mixed with 91. Recently within the last two tanks have reverted to running straight 91 and did...
