Make a long day out of it, hit some places for food and scenic spots off the highway every once in awhile. Hit the rest stops. It will take longer but you will be able to vary the speed and gears alot more.
The best way to deal with the CEL is to get a fully adjustable defouler and thread the O2 in for not enough air and thread it out for too much, depending on code.
I have a few hundred miles on my RV6 catted and no CEL, just a funny smell.
Just finished installing my RV6 front pipe and catted downpipe, its definitely quite a bit louder. Waiting to see if it quiets down a little after breaking in.
I wrapped the dp and fp and also ceramic painted the heat shield
The idle is great, really good rumble through accelerating (kind of like a boxer motor).
Ive had exhaust on a dozen plus cars and this is one of my favorites, waiting on the DP and FP to arrive and I will see how that goes.
I shift at 3K and I get to enjoy it every shift.
I have the R400 triple on my SI and its pretty quiet, great sound when accelerating but once you have light gas at 2k/3k you hear tire noise more than the exhaust. Does not sound like a rice can at all.
