  1. Time to go to church...

Is it one of the warning indicators? They sound a bit like a digital bell tone. Did you get your fuel pump replaced under recall yet?
  2. How do I keep the exterior of my car clean?

If you want to do all of that in an hour, you'll have to be the flash :D Personally, I went with a Sunjoe SPX3000 electric pressure washer, a foam cannon ($17 on Amazon; don't get duped into the expensive ones, just by the 1.2mm nozzle insert separately), and honeydew (chemical guys?) foaming...
  3. Buying Type R Used. If car had a tune reflashed than put back to stock before sale. Is the warranty gone for the new unsuspecting buyer.

This all makes me concerned now. Bought one certified plus, found out recently the previous owner (Honda tech at the dealership, no less) had it modded thoroughly and running E85, which means a tune was in the mix. Bought the extended warranty as well with all the talk of transmission trouble on...
  4. Easy, cheap solution for the Hot/Cold Shift Knob...

Have a link to the right size / form-factor? I have the red leather Honda knob, but should be similar enough :)
  5. Tow hooks for a CTR track day?

I'd be interested to know this, too. After the fiasco of having to get a tow recently (tire/wheel damage), it's worth running a tow hook during long trips. I'm going to see if any of these adapters can be concealed behind the front vent garnish and then just pop off and install the hook when...
  6. Driving gloves for Alcantara wheel

Don't have alcantara, but I wear Pratt and Hart leather driving gloves every day. You can get them on Amazon for $24-30 USD.
  7. FK8 Civic Type R Aggressive Wheel Fitment Thread/Database!

Looking to run Rays Gramlight 57DR in 18x9.5 +38 with 265/35/18 PS4S all around, no spacers, and stock height with no plans to lower. Does anyone foresee fitment issues? I'm going for zero-rubbing daily driver. What about 255/40 or 255/35 (or hell, 265/40)?
  8. Titan7 Track Wheels : Civic Type R FK8

Anyone running 265/40 or 275/40 tires? I'm considering some T-S5s or GramLights.
  9. 2017 Civic Type R Rebuild ***Project EvilR***

Eternal Blue is not going to be available in the US any longer, so you may want to pull the trigger. I'm trying to score some 57DRs in eternal blue, personally.

  11. Bumper Vent covers eBay

I have these. Work well, especially in the hot weather down south. Edit: Here's how they look installed, courtesy of Killboy:
  12. Oil Dilution in the Civic Type R

Thanks. I'm interested to see the analysis for sure. Once my included maintenance from the purchase is up, I'll be maintaining the oil myself & plan to be more proactive. Regardless of the synthetic ratings, I still change every 3000-5000 miles. Hopefully that keeps the Type R happy and healthy...
  13. Oil Dilution in the Civic Type R

I smell it on mine too. Second owner, around 18k miles now, but smelled when I got it around 11k miles. Also concerned about mine and had the dealer log it when I went for service.
  14. Tire damaged at dealer

Do you remember the feature name for the manual?
  15. Aggressive Wheel Fitment Thread

What rear diffuser is that? I'm looking for a more aggressive one on my FK8

They look to be Titan T-S5 in black
  17. A good cleaner/protector for leather wrapped wheel

I'm a fan of Lexol cleaner and conditioners
  18. Wake the Dragon 2020 Photos / Media Thread

Hey everyone, Thought I'd kick off a photo and video thread from the event! I missed the main event due to gouging both driver side tires on Friday morning, but caught a few of you on Saturday night and Sunday. Chicago Type R crew was great; we met up just outside of the Dragon and we took a...
