I had a buddy put it in for me, he used to have his own shop and gave me a good deal. I might have him help me put in my turbo too. Just in case something goes wrong have someone there with experience lol
Do you guys think I should bother upgrading to a race maf?
I have a Vargas GC turbo I am yet to install. I have stock exhaust, RV6 catted DP/FP, RV6 retrofit flywheel with exedy clutch, PRL intercooler with charge pipes, 27won TIP, Ktuner, and PRL cobra intake (street maf).
The tune I have now...
They are LED's I swapped out. I think VLAND 2. I actually got a good deal and found them on Amazon for like $250ish. Plug and play no wiring or anything
Got her all cleaned up. New RV6 clutch is finally broken in and got my DP/FP on yesterday. Just have to plan out installing the Vargas GC turbo sitting in my living room and plan a trip to PA for the tune.
I ordered mine late May but the shipping date keeps getting pushed back. I've had my DP/FP waiting to install too b.c. I've heard it's difficult to take the old one out with a 3" FP

I haven't even called around yet lol. I just got the clutch kit today actually. My car has 60k and on map 3 I very rarely get any slippage. I'm gonna wait until the clutch is an issue before I schedule anything
So nobody has these in stock huh? I want one and would like to do it same time as Dp/Fp b.c. I heard it is more difficult to put in with aftermarket Fp. Guess I'll have to wait
I bought a lightly used RV6 dp, is it worth it to upgrade the front pipe as well? I was thinking of doing a turbo in the future and don't know if its needed. Also the fp to dp connection is pretty corroded.
After doing the intercooler went ahead and put in the 27Won TIP. Had a little scare at the end, I thought I damaged some wires, but it all turned out good. Other than me breaking my dipstick! Should I just use pliers or buy a new one?

I reset the ecu by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a bit and after like 2 mins all the codes went away. K-tuner isnt throwing the P2565 either.
My hope is the harness/EWG area got a little hot from my heat gun and b.c. I started it so soon after...
So today I installed a 27won turbo inlet pipe. I had installed a PRL intercooler with charge pipes yesterday. Other than breaking the handle off my oil dipstick 😑 everything went smooth. I went out for a test drive and all is good. Map 3, full boost, car felt really good, great turbo noises...
Got the PRL intercooler and charge pipes in today. Gonna do the 27won turbo inlet pipe tomorrow morning. Have a RV6 Catted DP as well but I'm nervous about the studs/bolts being super rusty and snapping.
I'm in a similar situation not too far from you. Other side of the river. Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess. Lmk if you found anyone good or anyone else has a recommendation.
