Ah, I had thought that for Stage 2 you would need a "stage 2" car which I think is generally a setup with full bolt ons. Would you happen to know how much boost the stock turbo can take and how much it normally outputs without tune?

Is getting an intercooler to go with the CAI mandatory? I don't track and just want some nice noises as long as the heat soak isn't noticeable to the point where it decreases overall performance.

Yeah I don't push the car too hard, only sometimes when I go run in canyons but that only lasts a few hours. I know the intercooler cools air before it enters the engine and I believe the CVT cooler cools down fluids, but what are the actual performance benefits/differences between these two things?

If I don't get an intercooler but do get a CAI + tune, will heat soak get so bad to the point where it actually performs worse than just running stock without a CAI? Didn't know this was all so complex :(
