Yeah the supports they provided didn't line up to anything for me either. It looks nice and hasnt really messed up the usage much but it is kinda bothersome.

I am a major proponent for the aFe twisted steel. You get the performance of a high flow cat and pipe, but you'll also pass emissions without blocking codes. I had the RV6 downpipe and the cat melted during an induction service.

I have one clip but it really doesn't capture just how bad it is. And honestly our cars don't benefit from 3" pipe unless you're pushing 300+ HP. I think you're better off deleting your muffler.
