The problem with additional door switches is you would also need the proximity sensors to detect the key fob in that part of the car since it wasn't part of the original design
The GTRs are fun, but I enjoyed my CTR more, especially in the driving feel. I bought my GTR new in 14' and had it 8-1/2 years, but found myself driving the CTR more. Also way cheaper on parts!

I ran an Ipad multiple times in my GTR. It was fun and i enjoyed it foe a few years but ultimately went back to a dedicated car audio setup. Plus Apple carplay is way more useful on a day to day basis.
This isn't for everyone, just like spending 6K for speakers. It allows the install of the aftermarket radio. So no USB as it wouldn't be connected to anything. The metra instructions i posted have some more details. I'm not interest in diagnostic modes. If you are I would not use this kit.
