Well, it real depends on your budget and if you don't mind taking a loses (sales tax). Life is short buy something you want. If you are young that is even better. You will make up the money in the future. Good luck.
Sounds like you have a lot of disposable money. From one R to another R. I wish I could do that. To be honest I wouldn't get rid for the current R. Wait for the next gen R. The power on that will be 400hp. That's what I told.
Do yourself a favorite and learn to DIY and you'll save tons if money. Dealerships are know to be the biggest rip off. I never bring my car the the dealership unless it is for a warranty issue or something I cannot repair myself. Ok, you don't want to be a grease money. Well, if you are on this...
I've read the oil dilution in DI motors might be regional dependent. If you live in an area that is mostly cold the oil dilution will be more apparent than warmer climates. I live in California and own a 2018 si and I do not have an issue with oil dilution. I've also read that if have a oil...
Didn't you have the Suma ones installed? If so how is that compared to the Euro version? Does the Euro verson have the blue glass , heated, and led turn signal on the mirror? Is the Euro mirror the same ones from the link (Aliexpress) that another person has posted above?
You might have just talked me into it. Now, my si have a lane watch camera on the passenger mirror. Will that be an issue? Do know if the Touring model's right mirror come with lane watch camera and the led turn signal housing? I like to keep the lane watch camera feature and add the turn signal...
You got a point there about the extra load. Wouldn't want the fuse keep blowing. Anyways what timer module did you purchase from Amazon and how did you hooked it up. Did the connect it to the fusebox under the driver's side. At what amp fuse?
Thanks for replying. I will give this a shot once I get the mirrors. The installation on the turn signal housing seems a little intimidating and I might pass on that one. The mod you did on your car looks fantastic. Just wish I had the patience and the know how like you to tackle the turn signal...
Can you share the link from Amazon on the timer module you purchased? Some people tapped the heater mirror wires to the rear defroster. Is that a bad idea or why you didn't go that route? Where did you get your mirror with heater and signal? Got a link for that as well?
Hi, I have a 2018 Civic si and trying to do the same install witha a Suma mirror with defroster and signal. Not sure how to wire the electrical. You mentioned the location C-128 at driver"s footwell pin 1. Is this where to tap in the defroster and signal. Can please give me some insight?
Hi, I am new to the forum and was looking to add the Mugen turn signal mirror to my 2018 si. I noticed you installed to your Type R. Looks great. Can you share with me how you did the electrical install? Did you need to run wires, tap into existing turning signal electrical? I am lost. Can you...
Came across your car. You got one super clean nice ass car. Regarding the brembo brakes, do you have them in the rear as well? Are they from a Type r? If so, what year? I have a 2018 Civic si and want to upgrade to brembo brakes as well. Any suggestions? Also, with the lowering springs why did...
Thanks a lot. You have been very helpful. Do you know where I can get a back-up light circuit diagram for my 2018 si which has a 6 spd manual transmission. Just wanted to make sure the wiring circuits are the same. Can't seem to find one in the web. And I don't have access to a OEM Civic si Shop...
Thanks for the back-up light diagram. Looking at the reverse light circuit in the diagram there is a light green wire located at location B11 leading to the back-up lights, is that the same wire under the dash where you have tapped in the reverse wire from the Gentex mirror to shut off the auto...
