Looking to sell my KTuner v1.2 with the TSP Si tune. TSP tune ONLY works with the si!
I ran this on my Si and have used the KTuner on my accord for a few years now. Could use the cash for other things, looking to sell for $350 shipped.
really brings these cars to life!
such a cool car. so much fun to drive until you get repeated cooling system issues and have to trade it in so your wife doesn't trade you in lol loved mine tho. yours was super clean!
good luck, I spend more time on here than over there lol to my understanding the k20c4 in the accord is the same internally as the c1 with the differences being in the turbo and factory ecu tune. I haven't looked into the auto as mine has the 6MT. I'll pass along any good info I find if you...
i'd check it out. should do it even at idle. with only 11k i would be real surprised if you had a failed gasket letting oil burn up in the exhaust tho.
fuel economy numbers are probably for a regular civic as its listed as a 2017 honda civic not civic type r. if somebody did that much to make their sport hatch look like a type r between that front end and interior they may as well have put that money down for the r lol
but to the OP it's...
Pops on decel? like exhaust pops and burbles or like full on backfire pops? maybe look around the valve cover for an external oil leak or pull the undershield and look for oil build up on the shield. may be residual oil build up from a leak or something burning off every so often. start with...
nailed it. i just got my accord for a much better deal than i would have gotten because the guy was upfront about needing the car for his end of the year bonus. i was buying used on a rare car so i jumped knowing full well what i was getting and got a deal because it was 12/31. this is pretty...
ktuner does, not TSP.
here is the stage 2 ktuner tune that comes with the unit. numbers from ktuner website
Stage 2 MT Results:
Up to 88 lb-ft of torque increase over factory
Up to 60whp increase over factory
27whp peak-to-peak
i didn't do any exhaust work on my Si but if you're in there and plan on doing it just do it all at once rather than going back in. stage 1 or "1.5" in phearable's case are all fine to run bone stock or with your average bolt ons. stage 2 from tsp is the flex fuel upgrade if im not mistaken. i'm...
get this torn down asap and let us know what they find. the biggest impact point appears to be where the chain is but its hard to imagine the chain breaking causing that much damage. unless he's spinning this thing out at some ungodly rpm when it happened. very curious to see what the internals...
for your average daily driver is buttery smooth and a breeze to drive. I'm personally going to add a short shift adapter and probably solid base bushings which would crisp it up nicely for spirited driving. but for stock on a daily i do like it more than i would have thought.
It honestly depends what you’re looking for. It’s nowhere near the same feeling when it comes to the performance/sport aspect. It’s buttery smooth tho. The throws are a little long but I don’t see why some solid base bushings and a short shift adapter couldn’t crisp it up. I haven’t taken it on...
