I'm making 184 hp right now on tune, exhaust, and intake. I have the 2.0 NA 6mt. CVT are nice if you like cruising but they are boring, laggy and unpredictable.
I know a lot of people say that the k20c2 and c1 have nothing in common but this simply not true. This article shows the differences. https://tiremeetsroad.com/2021/03/17/heres-what-makes-the-honda-civic-base-2-0l-na-engine-the-civic-type-r-2-0l-turbo-engine-different/
Moreover, I do plan on...
I think that the k20c2 could actually make some good power but with some serious mods that would be custom at this point.
I have a k20c2 that I plan on using for a Track day car. I currently have:
Rv6 catless DP
Ktuned
AEM intake
Custom Megan/Magnaflow exhuast
Motegi wheels
Wilwood brakes...
600 hp may cost A LOT I see 300 -350 as obtainable and totally agree with you I thought people would be more helpful, i know if i had knowledge i would be
Yes but there is no real info that it was successful nor did he respond to any questions about intake manifold, throttle body, injectors or even ECU ... he said he used Ktuner but Ktuner does not currently support boost for this model. I'm not sure what to trust.
From what i gather now i jsut...
I do expect no bullshit negative criticism especially when i ask for it specifically to be withheld from the post. when you say " I cant expect too much" that pretty much means I cant expect anything. All I am asking for are DIRECT answers to my questions. If someone asked me what color the sky...
Always negative shit.. i guess i can appreciate people trying to help me with money but how do they know i don't have 10 grand to use specifically to turn a k20c2 into a nice track car not the next world record holder or #1 show car
I only spent 13 grand on this car brand new it was a deal that...
I would listen what you said if you explained why like maybe the fuel injection assembly is new and unproven or some shit like that but you come out to these forums with basic knowledge most of us already have. keep that shit to yourself as it is useless info that will not help me and if you...
Thank you for a well thought reply. At this time i am trying to see if i can put bigger injectors in I am going to talk with a local tuner and see if he can help me out a bit.
you can stop posting as you still did not answer my question and good luck on your FUTURE CTR and i use ad hominem attacks because i choose to, CRY ABOUT IT.
Explain the negativity surrounding the k20c2 and its inability to push power. The car is capable of going around a track with 250 ish hp.... no? 350 with some real money and love.... (Formula 4 thought it was worth modding) . You say its not worth building... EXPLAIN.... its still a good N/A...
Starting a forum to ask users for their assistance in better understanding the needs behind going E85 without a kit on the k20c2. I know Ktuner does not support yet.. but they will if someone builds a unit<--- this guy.
What injectors can be swapped?
Do i need a new pump/lines?
Is there a way...
