Honda of the avenues RR '19 for $5k ADM. I just don't get it...(FWIW, I do get it from a profit motive perspective but that is damned close to highway robbery.)
I would tend to think this would apply to the CTR as well, given the platform and the amount of horsepower. Someone earlier compared the CTR with the ms3, saying the CTR was a refined version of the latter. I could see that with a judicious throttle input, one could go very fast in both cars...
I'm really surprised most dealers are at or above MSRP for '19s. I've contacted NUMEROUS dealers and the best I got was $36xxx + ttl. I was looking for $37k out the door. Evidently, not happening...
Pensacola Honda, Billion Honda (Iowa City, IA), Superior Honda (Cincy) all are over MSRP for 2019s! Virtually NO ONE I've spoken with today has been willing to go below MSRP. WTF?
I disagree. Look at the number of people who have looked at both. There are obvious differences but the overall performance is close enough to be comparable. You may see them in different categories but I see them as competitors. I appreciate your input.
First, an '18 is NOT an M2C. Second, that was very basic and opinionated material disguised as impartial. Third, you have no reason for your opinion, grandma.
Thank you so much for that comparison. That gives me a reference point I was missing. Do you think it is all down to the Max Perf Summer tires? Or, is it the overall handling, as evidenced by similar handling on all seasons/winter tires?
Why in the world would you want an SSK for this car? That is definitely one that can be skipped. The only thing shorter I can think of were the Formula Fords and other open wheel cars I've raced...
Interesting take. I really appreciate your time. It's a little apples to oranges in the CTR/M4 comparison but what is the understeer like, head to head? What about having to wait to get into the throttle in the CTR vs M4 or other RWD cars?
The c43 is the wife's car. I used to do a lot of racing years ago, so I love to drive and put my cars through their paces, getting the most I legally can on the street. I don't want something like my former MS3, which the CTR is. VASTLY refined version of. That's what I'm facing. Hopefully...
On a cursory search, there was a black '19 in MI, IIRC for $34.6k. I'm hoping to get one closer to home (Louisville, KY) for that price or slightly lower. Maybe ask for $36k out the door. With so many available, get a bunch of dealers in a bidding war. Just be willing to ship, if it comes to...
(Accidentally posted this in the wrong forum before...)
Help me decide between these two. Coming from a 2018 Focus RS (God rest her soul) that was tremendous fun. FWIW, this will be my DD and possibly see some track or autox time.

I test drove the CTR yesterday. Fast, tossable, great steering and transmission. It feels, in a straight line, like...
