  1. Trying to lessen rev hang

Good info thanks a lot !
  2. Trying to lessen rev hang

Hey guys have a question about rev hang. The ktuner and tsp tune has made it better for sure, but still notice the revs still drop pretty slow unlike my other sticks where it feels like the rpm gauge is connected to your foot, where when your off the throttle the revs drop just as fast Any way...
  3. Maf vs map tuning

Just a basic question that I can’t seem to find. I have 2019 civic si, was wondering does stock us maf vs map tuning If they use both, which conditions determine which tune I also have k tuner with tsp stage 1. Does thus tune use maf or map, or both Just getting tuning so just learning the...
  4. Exhaust crackle after installed rv6 catted downpipe

Just installed the rv6 catted downpipe, and have noticed some exhausts crackles during some idle and deceleration What does this mean? Does it signify car is running too lean or rich? is it bad for the engine?
  5. RV6 downpipe need new tune?

Should run pretty good with just the tsp tune though right?
  6. RV6 downpipe need new tune?

Ya so each time you add on a mod you have to get a custom tune even if you have the tsp stage 1? So like 400 or so every time you add something?
  7. RV6 downpipe need new tune?

Ya but they say a tune will make it run better, is the tsp stage 1 tune sufficient or would custom tune be better
  8. 1.5T RV6 Review

Any CEL go off at any point.? Also noted some popping in the exhaust, have you noted that
  9. P0130 code with catted rv6

Was just wondering I just connected my rv6 catted downpipe to my 2019 civic si and got a CEL within 3 miles of driving. When I data logged the afr was frozen at 27 so the sensor was obviously need reading properly making the car run lean I then switched back to stock and the CEL was gone and...
  10. Trying to understand ignition tables...

But some other tuners say that retarding the timing gives you more power, since that heats up the exhaust which will cause faster and stronger turbo spooling.
  11. Trying to understand ignition tables...

They usually retard the timing with increase load to prevent detonation that would occur if ignition was too far advanced. Double edge sword, you want more advanced timing to get the peak combustion pressure , but the increased load add when boost is added will cause detonation, so its a fine...
  12. RV6 downpipe need new tune?

Hey guys just had a quick question. I'm installing my RV6 catted downpipe on my 19 si that already has the ktuner with tsp stage 1 tune. since I added the downpipe after I installed the tsp tune, does the tune need to be changed or modified?
  13. Question on TSP stage 1

Ya you might even note a touch of better performance since ecu retards timing a bit when knock control is up. Keep an eye on your iat 2 temp too, if running to hot then knock control might go up and pull timing as well
  14. Question on TSP stage 1

Ya I had the same problem with knock control in the mid .70s at idle and at cruise. I was using chevron 91 since day 1 but the tsp was tuned for 93 octane So one of the tuners said to add maybe a gallon of e85 to your 9 gallons of 91 This might raise your octane to maybe 92 I noted a pretty...
  15. Oil change

Ya I usually do, but sometimes rather not hassle
  16. Oil change

Very cool just wasn’t sure Thanks
  17. Oil change

Basic question but if I take my si in to the dealer for an oil change will they know ktuner has been installed Do I need to flash back to stock Don’t want to take any chances with warranty
  18. K control values running high

that makes sense, no way to really know since with the tsp stage 1 tune all the timing maps and ignition advance are locked I think the ktuner basemaps would be a way to see how the timing is advanced.
  19. K control values running high

Ya just trying to figure out at what k control point does the ecu retard timing Does anyone what parameter to look at in datalogs if timing is being pulled What is the normal ignition advance number, usually it’s about 11 degrees and anything less would be retarding the timing
  20. K control values running high

1 gallon of e85 to 9 gallons of 91 octane
