Thanks all. I am going to bias towards the fact that its the age of the tires, especially given the fact that these are not the best tires for this car. In my next service, ill ask them to diagnose the steering electrics, will see what they find.
Here is the diagnosis report post wheel alignment. Looks like the front and rear toe was misaligned. Car definitely drives a bit better now, but low speed city driving is still quite stiff; meaning I still have to use two hands to maneuver.
Have an alignment appointment for Thursday. Lets see what they diagnose. Drove the car on the freeway today, once I leave the steering the car slowly drifts to the left. Seems to me like a wheel balance issue as well?
