No major vibrations of spare tire cover, nothing I can hear. It does move some, I can feel it vibrate if I touch it. Externally the rear hatch is vibrating and making noise. Seems to be the rear spoiler area mostly. License plate has foam pad behind it that eliminates rattles.

I chose the Cerwin Vega for its size. It is the shallow version and is only 4.7” tall. All the others I looked into are around 6 - 6.5” tall and would not fit under the spare tire cover without modifications.

I installed the converter behind the head unit. Ran RCA’s, power wire, amp turn on wire and remote sub controller wire under drivers side door sill trim and kick panels. All wires are hidden except a foot or so of wire on the sub remote so I can adjust easily.

I found a good wire diagram for my EXL head unit on this forum that helped me find the correct wires for front speakers...
Hooked up to front speaker wires just behind the Oem head unit. Used a line out to RCA converter then ran rca cable from head unit to sub. Self powered, or built in amp. Ran power wire from battery to spare tire area.
