id say just a ktuner and a phearable 1.5R or TSP Stage 1+ would be more than enough for daily driving. I say go with the R or + versions because they feel a lot smoother than just the regular tunes. You can run those on the stock clutch without slippage as long as you don't to WOT pulls at low...
The 10th gen clutch is very hit or miss, i know some people who's clutch slipped during the OTS tunes and i know some people who are running phearable's 1.5+ with no slippage. Personally i have been running TSP's Stage 1 tune usually its on map 1 or 3 and I have not have slippage yet. I don't...
If you have an aggressive boost ramp you will build boost lower in the rev range. You can only enable that with a tuner and you can change it as well. You won't build a bunch of boost atleast not enough to ruin your engine unless you're going WOT at 2-3k often.
+1 for the K&N Typhoon does yours feel like it doesn't pull as hard as stock intake too? Sound is great but i feel like i lost some power when i got the K&N
If it says it only fits 8th gens then that probably true, you can see if the thread pattern matches what the 10th gens is, if its the same i don't see why it wouldn't fit you may need a nut to keep it in place however.
Yeah that's why I said it shouldn't, I have the PRL Catted DP and haven't thrown a code and I know a few other guys here that have catted DP and one that isn't even tuned with no code, climate and installation will be factors as well as other mods.
Things I love- aftermarket support, everything you get for $25k, I don't think any SI competitor can match everything you get with an SI for the price.
Things I hate- the gap between the SI and type R I wish we got a de-tuned 2.0L either that or give the CTR a bump in specs I know the SI isn't...
