I didn’t mess around with the side support panels at all. I just unbolted the center piece and swapped the oem with the carbon one.

I put it on earlier this afternoon. Didn’t even mess with any of the panels on the hatch. It was like 6 screws super easy. Only thing I noticed is from closed to halfway it opens like normal. About halfway there is a pause where it slows dramatically. Finally about 3/4 to fully open it picks up...
