I am ready to buy and am anxiously awaiting the new SI to look at. Also will consider the Mazda3 Hatchback Premium to get a manual transmission and the new Elantra "N" with manual. I might consider the new Civic Sport Touring Hatchback with the manual also.

If I am not mistaken, one of the members here had a "In Transit" list available somehow. I am not sure how it was obtained but if looking for specific areas you can go to automobiles.honda.com and put in the zip code for models in stock or in transit.
I think you made an excellent choice. I would do the same thing, just in a different color wheel. I like your choice, I am just not a "gold" wheel fan. Not a "black" wheel fan either. But I am probably not in any of your "age" brackets either. Thanks for the post and info!
And that is with the manual correct ?? Which is very impressive.
How well do you like shifting gears in your car ?? Is it smooth, rubbery, long throws, notchy, etc... ??
Did you try any other make/models with a manual like the Mazda3 Premium hatchback ??
Thank you for the clarification. Maybe that Ebay listing is just overpriced but I would have thought this assembly would cost more than just the knob itself. But, I admit I know very little :)
I have you by ten years but I still enjoy driving. I drive a tractor trailer for my job and when driving my personal stuff, I want a motorcycle or a manual transmission car. I don't need or necessarily want the fastest any more but I want enjoyment of driving and changing gears. I started with a...

Thanks so much for the reply. I am shopping to replace my 2006 Mazda3 5 speed sedan and would have already bought another Mazda sedan if they still offered the manual with a sedan. Mazda3 Premium hatchback at $29k is the only Mazda available with a manual and I didn't favor the Mazda hatchback...
... I understand why the dealers are doing it, only because they can. I don't understand why "possibly" Honda Corp would not want to sell more and increase their own profits. I myself have considered buying one if it was at or below MSRP, even though I don't like the huge rear wing and 20"...
Just checking to see if you still like your Sport Touring.... Any problems ?
Would you make the same choice again from today's knowledge of ownership ?
Or do you wish you would have gone in a different direction ?
What do you like / dislike about the Sport Touring Hatch ?
Do you run regular 87...
What gets me is that Honda Corporation does not make more money by the dealers selling above MSRP and if the car will sell that well why not just make more of them ? Then Honda Corporation would make more money by the increased volume in sales.
Is this story even real ? Has the "O.P." commented since the original post ?
I am doubting the validity of this. Would a bank or anyone finance that much money on a new car to someone without credit and for it to be that high above the value of said car ?
Most people without credit have to put...
