I have not. In about a month or so I'll go ahead and get the eibach sport line springs and sway bars for my civic. Once I'm finished with that I'll put in a short throw shifter and bigger wheels and call it done with the car. There isn't a lot we can do with this car. It's an econobox commuter...
There's not a lot of mods that will increase power for the 2.0L civic. Right now I have a tune from kTuner and the RV6 catless downpipe. Running both of these will give your civic a good bump in hp and torque. I wouldn't pay full price to buy these two things though; it's not quite worth almost...
I currently own a 2016 2.0L 6MT and I'm over my loan. My civic is worth about 9k and I owe 5k on my loan right now. I'm looking into upgrading into something a little sportier but still practical. I've reached out to a few dealers and have come to a decision between a Civic SI and a GTI.
The...
I have it set to 3200 rpm. I haven’t launched the car though, nor do I ever want to. With my catless downpipe and muffler delete the car is really loud and makes lots of pops.
My county was the last county in California to begin school closures. Students will be off on Wednesday county wide but the districts are still making me come to work until spring break. I have no idea what I’m going to do at work with no students.
Not hate but just annoyed. I didn’t do much research beforehand and I purchased a 2.0L 6MT 2016 LX. I didn’t over pay for it, but I didn’t realize that there was another civic with a turbo. I thought that the turbo civics only came in automatic. I really wanted a manual at the time. For a while...
I don’t think so. For me I would just go get it dynoed somewhere local or get an etune. The base tune on ktuner is really good. I don’t have an urge to get a custom tune for my car because it’s so good.
I have both and it’s been a blast. The car really wakes up with the ktuner. I felt some gains with the catless downpipe, but most of the recognizable gains came with the ktuner. I paid used prices for both of them, about $500 in total, so it was definitely worth it for me. If I had to pay full...
All I have is the ktuner tune and a K&N filter. It’s been a blast. Definitely worth it if you can pick one up used (and make sure it’s unmarried). I’m getting a catless downpipe this weekend so I’ll give an update when I install it. This is probably as much as I’ll put on my car performance wise.
I finished a drive this weekend which lasted about 120 miles. Slip streaming and eco mode on with cruise control at 55mph got me 52.9 mpg. I had AC on the whole time so I probably could have gotten higher.
I’m running a 2.0L NA 6MT Civic with ktuner on 91.
