If you ever wanna consider icon over fox I get 30% off with icon so I can help source you a kit. Maybe a cheaper option than fox. Nice taco btw.
Here’s my toy (one of them lol)
Just changed my setup to an aftermarket setup so I’m no longer keeping my tires or wheels. I do prefer to sell them as a set
——————————————-
The stock Si wheels are straight but a little curbed up. Nothing drastic or major.
The OE 235/40/18 Goodyear’s have approximately 11000 miles on them...
Ride is great and the tire is square to the wheel, very pleasant tire size for our cars. I’ll probably keep a 245/40/18 on my track wheels. I may get another set of the as4 or use the as3+ I have for a track setup.
I personally think that this tire size should’ve been the stock OE size. It just feels better cornering and performance in my use. I’ve been running the 245/40/18 on the a/s3+ I just thought as soon as I bought the car that a 245 would be a lot more appropriate for the car.
Here’s the a/s3+ in...
If anyone is considering tires soon maybe try these. Hands down the best all season tire I have tried in my experience.
I’m not a fan of the velvet sidewall, I like the look of the a/s3+ more but so far after 500 miles I couldn’t be happier with these tires.
Introducing the new Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4’s. Pretty much the a/s 3+ combined with a 4s. Hands down they’re amazing I probably have 500 miles on them and they are fantastic.
If anyone in San Diego needs tires lmk I got a couple sets sitting in my garage ?
Ditto on the DWS06. I ended up trying those as my first set and after a month I was over them. Way too soft for how I prefer “sporty” tires to be. Definitely good for a regular car. Continental will never be on par with performance tires. But definitely better than the Goodyear’s ?
I then went...
Those are nice! I’m actually not sure about the enkeis anymore, I’m looking at the new Konig lineup. We’ll see what I end up going with. I love the black but don’t at the same time. I’ve already found 3 little nicks on the sides so I’m gonna use my pdr kit to pull out 2 small dents and then look...
I’m pretty sure I’m Gonna get the Michelin pilot sport A/S3 seems like a really good tire. As much as San Diego doesn’t rain I want to be properly suited for when it does and never have to worry about it.
Keeping the Goodyear’s and stock wheels might be tough since I rent. Plus I don’t like having a bunch of junk or lingering parts.
As of right now I’m not sure which route for tires I’ll take. Thanks for the heads up regarding the Goodyear’s, I might have to consider getting rid of them sooner...
