  1. Auto(Wide) brake pedal on SI for heel-toe?

Funny thing is my old AE86+FD3S & my current DC2 I fit just fine and could even heel-toe the Hachiroku and RX7. I'm strongly considering a pedal box for the Integra to alleviate the situation but that project is in the waiting stage. It's only in new cars that I feel cramped. I was interested...
  2. Auto(Wide) brake pedal on SI for heel-toe?

I have a royally jacked up back and I love the SI seats. But I have completely given up on heel-toe as I'm 2M tall and unless I do a full bucket mounted to the chassis I have zero chance my gangly legs can make the pretzel required to do it.
  3. *CLUTCH WARNING - 10th GEN CIVIC SI's/MT's*

I hate the stock clutch/cmc/flywheel and as soon as I'm out of warranty will be upgrading all 3. Not that I'm making tons of power(I'm staying CARB legit) but anything that increases my enjoyment/feeling is worthwhile to me.
  4. Intake wrap

It has cold air inside it, so it's not going to get hot. Cracking is an exhaust side problem.
  5. Intake wrap

The wrinkles can be mitigated with some pre-planning and snipping for some of the more complex curves. Buying a large sheet and supplementing it with tape helps even more.
  6. Intake wrap

You want the gold to be the outermost layer, it's job it's to REFLECT heat AWAY from the thing you don't want hot. Wrapping insulation over makes it less effective. Blankets are better for stuff that produces heat, gold is better for keeping things cool that's don't get hot on their own. I...
  7. Thirty tuned engine failures

Gtman puttin in the investigation! Rock on
  8. Civic AC heading for lawsuit?

I just received a warranty extension for the compressor on my 2020 fc1. So whatever that means
  9. A note to the tuning "haters"

I'm not sure comparing VW to Honda in the reliable tuning conversation is rational.... VW's suck, always have & always will!
  10. Hondata 1.5 fuel system 388 hp dynojet results

The larger rev range is what I'm interested in most, I've always felt the L15B7 would change character with an extra 800ish rpm.
  11. Direct injection fuel pump teardown

If the cam gets CARB approval I'm in like Flint.
  12. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Update Vehicle: 2020 FC1 Total tuned time: 20 month Tuned miles driven: 20k mi Tuning device(s) used: Hondata CARB Flashpro Tunes used: base carb map Fuel used: Arco 91(mostly), occasionally 76 pump 101(20gal so far) Additional related mods: none, but I have the carb mishimoto intake...
  13. What was the funniest/worst experience you had when learning how to drive stick?

I needed to learn to drive stick since my Dad was an avid Rock collector and 4 wheeler. When it was just the 2 of us out in the middle of nowhere and no CB contact, someone's gotta drive dad out when he breaks his leg/ankle 20mi down a jeep trail... I think he was comfortable with me driving at...
  14. Are the L15 turbo engines the worst Honda made

I would say no, but comparing an L15B7 to; D16z6, b18c(x), b16a, k20a, k20c1, it's not even a comparison. Compared to some of the lore pedestrian honda engines; R-series etc, it's definitely better. When you compare it to the actual crappy ones(a-series in carb form), same situation. If you're...
  15. X gen Si year satisfaction survey

Only things I don't like about my 2020 SI are fake sound & doesn't start in sport mode(hondata fixed this amongst others). Comparing it to my DC2 there is not nearly enuff RPM, but the difference in torque makes up for it(somewhat).
  16. Why do people prefer FWD?

I'll 100% agree on the understeer thing. Growing up I was exposed to a ton of different cars(benefit of living close to Laguna Seca) so I knew that FWD was potent in the right hands/setup(Mini Coopers say high). Just never had the opportunity to feel thru steering wheel/seat. I was fascinated by...
  17. Bay Area - Silicon Valley South Bay Meets!

I was planning on going but my FC1 was burglarized @ 0246 this morning....
  18. Silvers neomax double adjustable coilovers review

Not yet it's on my list but I like to buy everything & install in one go(makes my life easier). My Integra needs an engine rebuild so that's eating up my carparts budget for the foreseeable future.
  19. Silvers neomax double adjustable coilovers review

Cool, I'm not looking to take FC1 on track, but off/on ramps are my bread n butter and there's a couple I use locally for suspension tuning(7/10ths). What's the minimum drop on the coils? I'd prefer a close to stock height as the Cali freeways are an exercise in dodging & rally is what I...
  20. Silvers neomax double adjustable coilovers review

I really just want more oversteer and to be able to steer with the throttle. It seems like the only way I can get it even pitched a little is left foot braking. Don't really need/want all the adjustments(have full coil/arms setup on my DC2)but if it's something that'll help get my FC1 a Lil...
