I have a royally jacked up back and I love the SI seats. But I have completely given up on heel-toe as I'm 2M tall and unless I do a full bucket mounted to the chassis I have zero chance my gangly legs can make the pretzel required to do it.
I hate the stock clutch/cmc/flywheel and as soon as I'm out of warranty will be upgrading all 3. Not that I'm making tons of power(I'm staying CARB legit) but anything that increases my enjoyment/feeling is worthwhile to me.
The wrinkles can be mitigated with some pre-planning and snipping for some of the more complex curves. Buying a large sheet and supplementing it with tape helps even more.
You want the gold to be the outermost layer, it's job it's to REFLECT heat AWAY from the thing you don't want hot. Wrapping insulation over makes it less effective.
Blankets are better for stuff that produces heat, gold is better for keeping things cool that's don't get hot on their own.
