I'd love to get a 718 Cayman S PDK and tune it. But if we're talking similar budget to the FK8, I'd tune a DSG Golf R and change the motor mounts + suspension to be more spicy.
I started with the Hardrace lower camber adjusters with Whiteline springs on stock dampers. For what it's worth, the different settings didn't exactly result in -1 or -2 additional degrees. I ended up using the extreme setting (-2) and then used aftermarket coilovers with adjustable top camber...
Downpipe and Phearable tune (I personally opted for a custom tune from him to optimize for my local fuel) will be the best bang/buck. Plus you get some nice QoL improvements with Hondata, like better traction control programming.
Are you in Vancouver area? FWIW, I'm custom tuned on Phearable and he said my Chevron 94 was low quality. I switched to Shell 93 and he was much more satisfied with that fuel.
I'm just over 30k Canadian. Some of my more expensive parts were bought used so I've included that price instead of retail. Didn't include things like tires or oil.

I personally have the ALK and the full set of Hasport 62a mounts. Occasionally in the wet I can get some wheelhop, but it's so much less pronounced than when stock. I would like to upgrade to slightly stiffer mounts at some point.
I personally have the Hard Race camber joints in the most extreme (-2) setting, but used my coilovers' camber plates to dial back the camber to -3, and with no toe. Apparently I ended up with a wider front track this way, and it feels really nice. Also running -3 camber out back using the Hard...
