For future reference, I recommend using posi-taps. They’re more expensive. Like $1.50 each but they make tapping so much easier and reliable. I did my side markers and remote start with them.

If you have an automatic, I think you can just buy an official Honda keyfob and have the dealer program it to your car. Or you can go aftermarket that uses your remote, checkout my other posts for an aftermarket option.

I did a self install for $200-$250 of a fortin kit. A bunch of dealers said no in Massachusetts because of safety issues on a manual (bs excuse). If you’re in the MA area I can lend a hand.
