I appreciate your insight! The idle sound changes after spirited driving or heavy throttle and what the dealership told me at least was that when the purge valve was deactivated, the sound went away. Sounds like I could probably try and recreate this at home before spending the $40 on a new one...
Just received a call from dealership stating the issue of louder than average ticking on my 2.0coupe was a faulty purge valve. Does anybody know ease of access or location of this part to determine wether a relative noob such as myself can replace. If I got any details wrong let me know! TIA yall! ?
I admire the effort put into this and its documentation, great job! also the added input about increasing diameter, I wonder if anyone has anymore input or experience with this design?
