  1. 20-21 Fake Vents on a 2019

That piece is actually removable so you just take it out, paint it, then reinstall once you are done. Pretty easy ?
  2. 20-21 Fake Vents on a 2019

Good to know! I thought they were separate pieces for some reason.
  3. 20-21 Fake Vents on a 2019

I ordered and painted with this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07YS8GSFT?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title The paint and clear are great quality but the color match is definitely not perfect. If my car was Black or a darker color idk if I would use this but it works well on white. Thanks!
  4. 20-21 Fake Vents on a 2019

Got them on the car. A couple notes are that the passenger side sensor cover is molded to the cover unlike the OEM piece. This has potential to make future vent removal challenging. The other thing to keep in mind is the ā€œgloss blackā€ surrounding is not at glossy as OEM. Other than that, I think...
  5. 20-21 Fake Vents on a 2019

Update: vendor number 2 was a success: here are the ones i ordered: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fit-for-17-20-Civic-Type-R-Hatchback-4DR-FK8-Front-Car-Fog-Garnish-Bezel-/265237877585?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 These actually fit ?
  6. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Washed and full tank of gas ?
  7. 20-21 Fake Vents on a 2019

Thanks for the heads up! These ended up NOT fitting so I started the return process ?. I did find some other $200 ones that showed the backs and they look identical to the FK8 ones. I ordered those and will report back. If those are a bust then I give up lol.
  8. 20-21 Fake Vents on a 2019

Once My paint shows up, Iā€™ll get them painted and on the car and post pictures ?
  9. 20-21 Fake Vents on a 2019

Anyone else try the eBay ones yet? I saw they were marked down so I ordered the front ones to see. The quality actually looks really good. The only obvious difference I see is the high gloss area around the fog light is more dull than my OEM 2019 ones.
  10. Tein Flex Coilovers

Awesome. Let me know what you think of them! Iā€™m probably closer to 1.25ā€ .
  11. Tein Flex Coilovers

Not sure. I ordered from lgracing and they had great customer service. I would highly recommend them.
  12. Tein Flex Coilovers

That is correct. They do allow for front camber adjustment using the top hat.
  13. Tein Flex Coilovers

2000 mile update: Still enjoying this as a daily setup. They are a little louder than the OEM stuff but no excessively loud clunks or anything like that. I ended up adjusting the fronts to the stiffest setting to avoid rubbing as much as possible but the car still drives great. Car still feels...
  14. Tein Flex Coilovers

    It should be here: https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/spoon-springs-install-diy.27507/page-3#post-912241
  15. Tein Flex Coilovers

I did not adjust the fronts and installed as is. The spring perches for the rears were set to the lowest setting so I did raise it an inch or so. See the picture below before raising the car ? . I did NOT remove the front pan or loosen the LCA bolts this time. I followed @02SilverSiHB ā€˜s...
  16. Tein Flex Coilovers

I had the chance to install the coilovers this weekend. Installation : Removing the front struts was the usual headache but since the coilover is significantly shorter, installation was super easy. For the rear I had to remove the fender liner so I could remove the OEM strut. I thought it was...
  17. What did you do to your Type R today?

Ended up making the change to coilovers. Looking forward to seeing how the car drives now.
  18. Tein Flex Coilovers

I am not currently planning on running an EDFC. I will probably leave the rears somewhere in the middle and just adjust the fronts for daily driving/canyons. If the rear is too harsh for my kids then I will soften it up and reconsider. Yeap, those are all reasons why I chose the flex A. My...
  19. Tein Flex Coilovers

Will do! Iā€™m hoping the ride is decent since my fk8 is my dad car haha. I chose these because they are twin tube designed which is supposed to be less harsh when compared to the mono tube used for most other coilovers.
  20. Tein Flex Coilovers

In case anyone is considering them: I ordered them from lgcracing.com for about $100 cheaper than I could find anywhere else and they came in less than a week. As with all of the other Tein products I have had, the quality is great. Iā€™m super happy that the error cancelers are included.
