  1. Buddyclub Steering wheel - quality?

Hi all, Considering a Buddyclub Steering wheel (full leather version) as I do not like carbon fibre on steering wheels, so rules out Mugen etc. I see few posts from owners who have had these fitted for a while now (either BC version) - can anyone provide feedback on how the leather has held up...

  3. I messed up….

Have you looked on ebay? It's the same part on all mk10 civics, plenty out there
  4. Front Blank rotors... not drilled or slotted

Pad compound causes squeal, worn brake discs don't. Get the OEM 2020+ 2 piece discs
  5. Car went into safe/limp mode

pre made maps are garbage, should already get a custom map suited to your exact engine health, fuel choice, mods, requirements etc
  6. Removing the Front Rotors

This may sound silly but, if you can't get the right angle with a breaker bar, have you tried turning the steering wheel full lock? Or invest in an impact wrench :D
  7. HKS Intercooler with PRL pipes - getting it to work without HKS pipe kit

Hi all, I have been offered a HKS intercooler on a great deal core only, and want to pair it with the PRL pipe kit but don't want to have to buy the HKS pipe kit as well to then not use them - I've read lots of posts of people saying you need the HKS pipes to get the PRL pipe kit to fit - but...
  8. FK8 Performance Boost Tubes - 27WON

Do you guys make these anymore?? No longer listed on your website? Thanks!
  9. Break cooling

Very common on S2000s to run ducting to the brakes and cut holes in the disc shields to mount them, loads of info on s2ki.com for this, could be an option for the FK8? Dead cheap to do as well
  10. Turbo noise with higher miles?

My FK8 is a 2019 car and has done 13,500 miles, completely stock. I find the turbo is quite noisy from 1500rpm until about 2500rpm when the induction noise takes over - I drove a few other lower mileage cars and couldn't hear the turbo at this low revs, is this normal for it to make a bit of...
  11. PLM front pipe fitment ok?

SMH, I didn't say I was broke, I'm in the UK everything especially prl is marked up here. Its $600 for a tiny pipe that isn't anything special. If there's issues with it not being welded correctly that's what I'm looking for info on? Otherwise it just looks exactly the same as all the other...
  12. PLM front pipe fitment ok?

Hi all, got a HKS Legamax so need a 3" front pipe to match (and fit with the stock dp/cat) PLM is half the price of the PRL so thinking of going for it, I saw a post by someone saying it didn't fit correctly on their Sport Hatch just wondered if anyone could report on the fitment on an FK8? I...
  13. Best Intakes?

you need to differentiate between Injen v1 and Injen Evolution, as the latter is completely different and similar to PRL / aFe. Injen got lots of hate for their v1 but the Evolution is a lot better!
  14. Outside of North America WTB: Rays Gramlights 57CR or 57DR 18x9.5

Anyone have any for sale? Preferably in Bronze but any colour considered. Must be willing to ship to the UK. Thanks
  15. I Love Comfort Mode.

Does anyone have a link to a source that states the exact differences between modes? Not seen it anywhere myself and very interested in the facts rather than feel Also- to those saying they wish you could mix and match the settings, you can modify it to do this...
  16. FK8 Designation

You wouldn't call it 8.1 and 8.2 it would be 8.0 and 8.1 anyway? Also they've always just been called facelift cars so call them that...
  17. Refreshed 2020 Civic Type R, here it is!

It's the same windscreen.. the sensors are stuck onto it inside the car. Also don't you guys have windscreens policies on your insurance or something?
  18. Current owners: so who's upgrading?

I'm hoping plenty of people trade in their old cars for the new one so I can pick up a sweet used deal on an older one, or at the very least that it drives price down on the older ones. Fingers crossed
  19. Looking at a used example with a few issues

Unless it's insanely cheap walk away. Those are just the issues you can see, they'll be other things that will go wrong further down the line as this car has clearly had a hard life and not looked after at all - walk away! If this was a rare exotic it would be a different story
