If you aren't worried about installing them at the same time then install your springs and then measure the lower control arm angle, it should be flat or the ball joint should be lower than the subframe, if the ball joint is higher than the subframe then I'd get the ball joints.
I will say...
I had an 18 Si before I got my Type R. Why on earth would they shorten the final drive? 1st gear was already too short and redline came way too fast with the 4.1s. I assume the difference is fairly negligible, but the 1.5 does not rev high enough for such a high ratio. I had an 06 RSX at one...
If I am not washing at home I rather just run it through the touchless automatic. I have never been able to get a car sparkling clean at a self serve unless I bring my own stuff, but then itll eat $10 in a hurry. Theres a touchless local here thats $7/8. It uses wax that I don't really want, but...
I am constantly hitting the brake hold button by accident. I do use it, but I find it incredibly annoying 98% of the time. I did notice that the buttons are swapped on rhd cars, the parking brake and brake hold are always on the drivers side. Could I just get the rhd button and swap locations...
I like how it sounds in the car and personally I think most aftermarket exhausts sound like tractors, but step outside the car and it just sounds like a sewing machine, it has no presence. My Si had a really nice little rumble if you stood around behind it while it idled. I have gotten to do one...
They didn't make a fuss about the tune when you had them replace 2nd or is that a recent mod? This is 100% their fault. The alignment of the mainshaft is probably fine if you do not have other trans issues, but it is shimmed a few thousandths out of the factory spec, hopefully they don't have a...
That hood is sick, but I am not in the market for a whole hood. Just currently contemplating fixing the paint chips on my factory scoop or buying a carbon fiber scoop.
I don't think that would work in my garage, that would put the beam right where your head would be when you go through the walk in door, plus I would have to park my car in pretty much the same place
I can put something on the garage door, but that doesn't help if I fuck up and close the door, the opener hardware will hit. Plus, I don't want the hatch hydraulics to put any upwards pressure on the wing, which will happen depending on where I am parked and if I put foam on the door.
So last night I was loading something in the back of my car, had it in the garage with the door open. I have a 8x7 garage door with a low headroom kit and depending on where I park the middle of the wing just touches the door at the end of the stroke, it was raining outside, so I just carefully...
