Trying to order just one wheel as a replacement is painful- I know from experience. That being said, there is pretty much zero chance that I'd be able to sell the remaining three on their own. That's a hard pass, unfortunately.
I remember that fiasco. My wife had a black 08 coupe that I eventually used as a commuter and put a ton of miles on. It was in pretty good shape mechanically but looked like an absolute sh*tbox because of the paint peeling off all of the upper areas of the car. I didn't even bother to get it...
Hello again!
I'm selling my Volk TE37SL in 18x9.5 +45 with Black Rays SL Adapter Rings (now discontinued) and matching Mag Blue Center Caps. I run my CEs way more often, and I really don't need another set of wheels in the garage at this point.
They are in pretty good shape with about 5-6k...
Repaired my custom track grill that I cut apart and then re-screened. It was damaged previously and I finally removed the old grill and replaced. Hopefully the cooked on bugs come off after all this time...
Right, I do remember seeing the FL5 spec, but never the FK8- thanks for the reminder on the FL5 listing. Is the hardware the same between the cars for the knuckle, etc?
If memory serves, I think the FK8 ball joint comes pre assembled to some degree, so there isn't any service info on it for...
Did anyone ever come up with the proper torque spec for the bolts associated with the joint replacement? I have these things sitting on a shelf but never installed them due to lack of info- I had coilovers on the last car so it never came up for discussion.
This is the one I've been waiting for-
Not in a rush to start stacking coolers on top of radiator or intercooler, etc. unless absolutely necessary. Trying to keep the hot stuff separated as much as possible. I do appreciate everyone's efforts to find creative solutions though; don't want to...
You have torque steer at 100+mph on the street?
This thread is full of mysteries...
IMO, if you're not aware of the difference that tire size/treadwear/etc. can have on a vehicle then you have no business driving 100+mph anywhere unless it's under direct supervision. I.E. take it to a track...
I've heard/seen it argued both ways- that wrapping the pipes either doesn't do anything or "holds" heat versus allowing the largely aluminum products to do their thing and shed heat the best that they can.
My take on it is this: when on throttle, I'm expecting a certain wicking effect from...
