@s2kdriver80 your assumptions are correct. Honda always overdoes it with their instructions. If I were to do it again I wouldn’t take the hatch apart or replace the struts. There seems to be no point.

I have one of these on order. I’ve seen a video where a guy install it in 10 minutes without taking anything apart or replacing the shocks. Doesn’t that seem like overkill for a slight weight difference?
