  4. Remus Exhaust: Detailed Review

He just responded to me yesterday night and was not sure regarding the availability. He will let me know after checking with his friend. So, I will keep you posted. And no word on the pricing yet. I'll ask him today.
  5. Remus Exhaust: Detailed Review

You are right. I will reach out to other vendors and see what's the best price I can get on those Remus FP. If not, I will settle with PRL FP, which I was offered for 280$. Between, the guy responded to me and said if he can make one adapter for me. Honestly, Yes, the adapter looks hideous. But...
  6. Remus Exhaust: Detailed Review

Its expensive lol.. People are selling the PRL front pipe for around 280$ used. Compared to Remus, about 480$ and above. After doing some research on FB groups. Some guy was able to weld a 3-inch adapter pipe to the flang (am hoping that is the correct term). I found out some 3-inch adapters...
  7. Remus Exhaust: Detailed Review

I am a little worried about the provided Remus adapter. The adapter has a 3-inch wide opening to accommodate the Catback, but it has a 2.5-inch opening to fit the factory front pipe. Will this cause any loss in performance? I tried looking for 3 to 3-inch adapters but couldn't find one. I found...
  8. Remus Exhaust: Detailed Review

On the Remus website, it says the Catback exhaust can only accommodate the Remus front pipe. But I have seen few people running PRL front pipe with an adapter. Anybody know what size adapter I need and where can I get those? Other things to consider regarding the install?
  9. Civic Type R After-market Wheel Guide

Very long and informative thread. So, after going through the thread, I've decided with Enkei TS-5 wheels. My question is, does OEM valve stems fit aftermarket wheels, or do I have to purchase a different type of valve stems? I've tried searching for this information but couldn't find anything...
  10. Remus Exhaust: Detailed Review

I liked the carbon fiber tips, but I was trying to keep the cost low, and I personally liked the angled cut tips. Stock FP and DP. But I have plans for FP and DP to further enhance the exhaust tone in the coming weeks. It is hard to hear any crackles and pops with the rear seats in up position...
  11. Remus Exhaust: Detailed Review

I am in love with it. The fact that you can make it sound like almost stock exhaust and make it loud for some fun driving. I always drive it with 100% open throttle and with my rear seats down, which will let the sound a bit more inside the cabin. I also get some crackles and pops in 2nd and 3rd...
  12. Remus Exhaust: Detailed Review

getting my Remus exhaust installed now as of this moment. excited to see how it turns out. This is my first car with an aftermarket exhaust.
  13. New audio setup with DSP

I've disassembled the smartcord but, just need an idea on how you made it happen. I am assuming cutting up with a Dremel on the back of the switch to accommodate the board from the smartcord. But a picture would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  14. New audio setup with DSP

Very helpful OP. This is something off the topic here. I couldn't help but notice the Smartcord from your radar detector mounted on the front dash beside the audio knob displayed in the last pic. I removed the lower dash and gave those blank spot clips a look, but still unclear on how you were...
  15. Remus Exhaust: Detailed Review

I ordered mine last week, and one of the vendors said, I have to wait until the end of the month. But other vendors had the exhaust in stock, and it should take less than 10 - 14 days with shipping and processing depending on where you are located. Could be sooner, 10 - 14 is the max days.
