Yes, there is a tuned reliability thread by Gtman regarding the reliability. That’s why many people flash back to stock prior to dealership visits for any work.
Tomorrow is a new day filled with opportunities for a better day after. Perhaps you’ll be back again sooner than you think, unless you end up getting something like a C8 or Porsche lol. Best of luck!
Sounds like you constantly lugged your engine after you had your new CAI installed just to hear the spool.
Engine lugging = Incoming Failure
Lugging is a real thing.
I think it has to do more with self-preservation. Yea I used to do that in my teens, but now there’s much to live for, whether family or career.
I wouldn’t want a “street racer” zig zagging through traffic only to end someone’s life, for pure ego.
Proven how? When someone implies a tune is safe or proven, what exact is proof that you won’t join the others who say their cars working flawlessly with X tune and then BOOM after more miles driven. 90% highway driving, barely giving it gas to not “abuse” the car is hardly using the benefits of...
Yes, most get the PRL cobra. My question was the reasoning as to why one would purchase this? I’m hoping it filters just as good as the OEM filter, especially given it is DI as carbon buildup is a headache. I can’t imagine the length to walnut blast these engines.
Lugging is the same as WOT at high gear/low RPM. That’s as bad to the engine as it is to the clutch. As long as you’re not lugging the engine, your engine sound be fine and your clutch will last for daily driving.
Tunes should be track-proven. After all, you’re likely to give it more gas with a tune because you wanted more power. It sounds pretty silly to get a tune but scared of giving it gas because it’s not safe.
Hondata has tested their tunes on the Thunderhill track for 25 straight hours and works...
It absolutely can. That’s not the first, nor the second time someone mentions that tune and blown in the same sentence.
A money shift can also do that, in which case is not covered under warranty either.
Not a fan of freeloading off of others, whether corporation or government. All the...
