I ran BfGoodrich comp 2 a/s for about 2 years and have nothing but great things to say about them. Very grippy in the summer, rain, and work well in the snow as well (if you live in a snowy climate). Tread life is 45k miles but i have had no issues with excessive wear.
1k for a ceramic coating? Nah man, I would do it my self. I did it my self on the last civic I owned and had no issues at all. Strip washed, clay bar, polished, IPA wipe, and then put the ceramic coating on. I used Avalon King ceramic coating and it was super easy to apply and remove. There are...
Uhh I don't know about not polishing these cars... as I have polished mine twice and had no issues at all. Car brite used to make this stuff called liquid 2000 which is 2000 sand paper but in liquid form and I have used that on some of the deeper scratches with no problems. Now the thin metal is...
I have a 27won cold air intake already that I installed. I know I don't "need" a FMC but I would like to keep the car cool and not have very high temps from heat soak. On the same token i'm not going to be doing a ton of pulls all the time.
I'm considering purchasing a 27won FMC when they release in the spring but having second thoughts about needing one before I run a tune on my car. I live in the North East of the US (Delaware) and our temps don't get really crazy. I've seen and read people say to get a FMC before ktuning your...
The best thing you could do with these soft paints is skip the waxes and sealants. Constantly applying them will add friction which results in scratching your paint. Go with a ceramic coating and forget about it all. Still have to wash your car but maintenance will be a breeze.
Before I...
I will do option A all the way till 20 mph then release the clutch and brake, down shifting into 2nd or even 1st is useless because most of the traffic is sudden stop anyways.
Everything is designed to move given the load applied to the car. Saying the car does not need it because it is attached to the firewall does not make any type of sense. When you take a turn at a high rate of speed you can feel the body of the car roll a bit. This is because any type of...
I just installed a 27Won intake and it did the same thing, it is normal. I unhooked my battery before working on the car and when I was done, started my car, and drove off I had every code on. Drove 1 mile and turned the car off. When i turned the car back on they went away. Nothing to worry about.
There is talk that they are not even going to be selling 2021 Si this year and wait until 2022. All of the Si's near me (again Delaware) are very hard to find. I just bought mine as soon as it came off the truck with 3 miles on it.
My sales guy on the east coast (Delaware) said possibly not until early January possibly February due to the plants being shut down because of covid-19
The fastest i've done is 124 MPH in my Civic, I got pulled over doing 98 MPH on route 1 (Mexico DE) and the state trooper dropped my speed down to 70 MPH (speed limit 65).
I have a completely stock 2017 Civic LZ 2.0 NA and I was wondering if it was worth it to get the KTunner? Everything i've been reading there is not a lot of support for the 2.0 v.s the 1.5T
