  1. Civic Si in GS

Awesome driving Ryan! Emery and, less importantly, I were not on Yokohamas all the way around as the results suggest. We were on multiple tires.
  2. Civic Si in GS

SCVanguard, I think the V730's are better than the Falken on first runs in cool conditions (based on available information but not personal experience), but they still like a little heat--like all tires. They can get hot. This past weekend, we bathed them with ice water in between runs. As...
  3. HELP Broken LUG Nut stud

So, anybody done this with their civic si? I broke one on the front. Any chance Honda fixes this under warranty? If I pull the hub, do I need to replace the bearing? Was planning to replace all the studs with ARP studs. Honda quoted me 500 bucks if not covered under warranty.
  4. Civic Si in GS

Anyone tried the SC3's on their Si yet? Also, what pressures are people running in the BFG's?
  5. Civic Si in GS

Tired of killing tires in 4 events. Running 255/40/17 RE71R's. 2-driver car. Temps have been high. They look pretty dead after about 50 runs. We run about 31 psi in the front. I think that is partly why they wear so quick, but frankly they feel better and faster to me with lower pressures...
  6. Civic Si in GS

We bought some HPS pads, but haven't installed them yet. Had a decent finish to the season at the last Nebraska Region event for the year. My son is already a much better driver than I am. He placed 1st in class 6th in pax. I was 2nd and 9th, respectively...
  7. Civic Si in GS

    Thank you very much.
  8. Civic Si in GS

Anyone run different tire diameters front versus back? Planning to run 255/40/17 fronts and 245/40/17 rears this weekend, but want to make sure it doesn't freak out the computers or sensors.
  9. Civic Si in GS

I am quite foolish, but can't make it to those events this year. Want to come over that way to get beat up a little bit (or more) by yourself and others next year.
  10. Civic Si in GS

One more event before the end of the season here in the upper midwest. Sunday, my son and I ran a local event. Finished 1st in PAX. My son had a faster raw time, but it was dirty. He ended up 2nd in class and 3rd in PAX. We were 7th and 8th in raw times. I was able to run without him in the...
  11. Civic Si in GS

2 Events since putting on the eibach 25mm rear bar. My son co-drives with me. He is 14 years old, but is able to drive per permit as long as I am in the car with him. So, his times all have a 230 pound weight penalty. Because he is competitive, he always wants to ride along with me so I...
  12. Civic Si in GS

Put the Eibach bar on yesterday, and it certainly livened up the rearend. Its noticeably stiffer. Feels more like my Camaro now. Want to pull the pins in the front, but might not have time to get it aligned before next weekend. I can't find it now, but I think I read that pulling the pins...
  13. Civic Si in GS

So, I am prepping a 2019 si sedan. Have 17x8 wheels with 245/40/17 RE-71r's (bought wheels and tires used as a set). I have run one event with it, and other than the goofy rev hang and a bit of weirdness from the brakes, it performed pretty well with just wheels/tires. Next year, I plan to...
  14. What do you think a Prepped DS type R is worth

I would do one of those ads here and at the place I can't talk about in which you let people know the car will be available for 37k with all the goodies first with a clear deadline for demodding and then go the other route if there are not any bites. 37K prepped is a great buy for a proven...
  15. New Here? Introduce Yourself!

Sorry no picture handy. Relatively new owner of a 2019 Si bought for the strange combination of winter duty and autocrossing. Hoping to gain knowledge from the autocross group here. I've been reading for a while, and it looks like a great site.
