That’s basically what I’m trying to figure out. If there is any reason to worry. I have a 2004 pilot that is bone dry on the bottom of the engine. What I recently have thought of was the oil is just coming from my oil changes. When I change my oil I notice that the oil is really tacky so I am...
I’m am in the same boat looking for advice from you guys. I have a 1.5 L turbo 2017 hatch. I have a warranty until 2025. The oil leak so far seems to be just a touch of oil that is tacky. The tacky in my head would mean it’s probably old oil so a very slow leak. The leak is in that same location...
Sorry that this comes years later. Change the CVT oil night and day difference!!!!!! I had the rough shifting with breaking and low speed acceleration. Almost like jerking. After doing a CVT oil change I can sip my wine and drive without spilling. Lol
I am going to do a fluid flush. I know it gets confused when I brake and then let off the gas before I reach a full stop during hard braking. This is in conjunction to my first post.
So I bought the Noico 80mil and it helps a bit. I matted the spare tire area. What I may end up needing to to do Is the Matt the wheel wells. I may also just need my tires balanced.
Anyone else find when they sit in the back of their Honda Civic Hatchback that the rear hatch/trunk has a lot of road noise.
I plan on trying to dynamat around the spare tire and possibly the hatch door.
Has anyone else tried doing this? I saw a thread where people where dynamating for stereo...
Sorry I have not messaged lately. It turns out it’s rocks getting stuck under the splash shields. A air compressor would help or you may have to take out by hand some of the more stubborn rocks.
I started smacking the bottom of the splash guard. I believe the issue is not the lower engine plate section now, but the plastic area under the drivers side seat.
I have a rattling noise that begins around 70MPH and goes to about 80MPH. It sounds metallic and seems to be coming from either under the gear shift under the car or in the engine compartment. I'm trying to find where exactly its coming from. I'm just wondering if the location and the type of...
What I ended up doing is going to homedepot and buying some aluminum and mended my old one. Hours of work pounding out the old shield and then drilling and riveting it to the new aluminum. Then I created custom mounts because the old mounting points were destroyed.
Ran over crap on the freeway destroyed my splash shield. Does anyone have a link to where I can buy just the aluminum shield. I understand you can only buy the part from the dealer in the whole assembly (74110-TGG-A10) however, I am hoping someone has maybe a used one or is parting out their car...
