Safelite quoted me 90 minutes for install and 90 minutes for recalibration. I dropped the car off before 8:00 on my way to work, and it was done by 11:30.
Picked up the car this afternoon. They used an aftermarket glass, but everything, including recalibration, is covered under their warranty for as long as I own the car. Drove it 45 minutes home, and no issues. Hoping it stays that way.

Update: called State Farm, and they will pay for both the windshield and the recalibration. I have an appointment tomorrow morning at their shop. I will follow up once itās complete and I get the car back. Iāll try to remember to ask if they will be using OE glass or aftermarket.
Itās a Touring sedan. In SC, windshield replacement is a $0 repair, but I donāt know if the insurance company covers the recalibration. Iāll be calling my State Farm agent in the morning regardless. Was just curious if it would be worth arguing to send to the dealer for both the windshield and...
Driving to pick my kids up this afternoon rolling a dump truck with its tailgate open, and something hit my windshield and left a near perfect circle in the glass. Only had my car about 4 months too. Does anyone know if any of the big name glass replacement companies can recalibrate the Sensing...
this is why I didnāt want the sport either, in my CivicX or my last car, ā11 Sonata. Didnāt want the harsher ride of the larger wheels/tires. I love the ride of the touring for the most part, but an Si rear sway bar is definitely in the not too distant future.
@JT Si before I moved to SC nearly a dozen years ago, I lived in the PDX metro area and had to deal with DEQ testing every 2 years, concurrent with vehicle registration. No pass, no registration sticker. Now, itās free reign to do whatever you want, so long as itās not excessively loud, though...
Nice ride. It rained all day yesterday, and mine needs a bath. CBP touring. I like the Aegean blue, but didnāt want black interior. Too hot here in the South.
I need to install my turbo decals on the rocker panel.
The aspect ratio is the same, but because itās a wider tire, the sidewall is taller, which will cause the speedo to read inaccurate. If your wheel width will accommodate, I think you would be better to find the Turanza in 235/45R17. This tire has nearly the same overall diameter as itās...
