Hey guys, I’m hoping that someone could help me out with this one. If you get in your FK8 and turn the wheel ALL the way to the left, and then ALL the way to the right, does it stop in the same relative position? Or is it ever so slightly different? Thanks in advance for checking.

No it won’t cause issues, it may look a little funny though as that’s a short tire for our cars. Run them if you already have them, then buy something more suited to the car after they wear out. Also, running a wider tire in the winter is not beneficial. ?

At stock height, I would recommend a taller tire. If you are lowering it, it will be fine. Of those options, I prefer stock height and a taller tire. 245/40/18 or 265/35/18

With the lowering springs, you may have very minor rubbing on big dips. If you could find wheels you like in an offset closer to 45, that would be ideal. But I’ll admit, the 35 offset will give more of a flush look. I’ve personally fit and raced on 11” wheel widths, so 9.5 shouldn’t be a problem.

I run the 265 because I want the extra MPH at the top of 2nd gear, and I want the most tread width possible. Because it’s an RE71 with a stiff sidewall, it still feels responsive. I would not do the same with a BFG Rival. Also, my TR screen shows the weights as 26 and 27 respectively.
