But you guys know it all!
got this when the XDI support was first released. This is snap of the test car owner’s response. Ok, he is running a drilled line you win jackass
Rampage is rs450 is not the only drop in there is rs550, prl p600 etc. or even a full turbo kit that will require more fuel specially on ethanol.
Questions to answer
I am I done modding at 470?
Xdi is ok
Will I want more than 470 and possibly need more fueling upgrades?
then consider hondata...
Drilled line will benefit the stock hpfp and xdi mainly for ethanol blends.
keep in mind that depending on power goals and fuel mixes you might need injectors later down the road as well as in tank pump. But 450 on a upgraded turbo with just xdi should be all you need.
Doesn’t matter substantial or not the car was used and the previous owner could have potentially beaten on it as well then you did it to. The whole point is the engine was already stressed your claim of I was cruising on the highway doesn’t mean anything it was hurt and a time bomb already. That...
Funny beat the hell of the car on a tune... ok I removed the tune I should be fine now! Not how that works buddy your engine was already stressed and blew up on a highway cruise!
Their shop Type R has carillo rods, cp pistons, springs and retainers ferrea and clutch master double disc clutch with hondata fuel system and now full prl boltons with p600. In the latest DIPR interview he talks about why he built the engine he had the oportunity and at the time of him going...
You will have to follow the IG story as the only make posts about the tracked ones all the other ones they shared owners content on their story. For sure I can tell you the red one recently made 550hp there is a blue one that holds the fastest fwd time in the PR circuit track 1 minute flat and...
Who knows this whole thing comes down on how low they apply torque as torque is what kills these engines and transmissions. A well tuned R has peak torque anywhere between 3500 and 4500 @kefi would probably be best addressing this one as I am not a tuner it is just from conversations and dyno...
Three with hundreds of hours on the track there are over 10 or 15 over the 500 mark as far as their dyno calibration they don’t have a Dyno they go to a local dyno and some of these Rs are not even in PR they are in the states. I have not had a chance to dyno mine after the fuel system install...
Redstar has about three type r stock internals stock clutch with over 500 horses and over 500 hours of track time. So it can hold more than just a few pulls. Do you want to risk it that far? Probably not lol not to mention they are all running stock fuel system with meth ?
Past few months it has been a journey seen all the new parts getting released from turbos to the hondata support for XDI. This last one have been a topic for debate on other forums like fb and instagram.
I am not here to bash xdi or hondata I want to learn more and want to see different points...
I literally ordered xdi one day after getting the hondata release for it. I just changed my mind because there was not enough data out in the process I found a deal on hondata so I went for it.
Look I paid almost full price for my hondata fuel system not getting any sort of special treatment at all saved a few hundreds with military discount and a coupon and that was it. I am not dragging XDI. Just the pumps head to head xdi is far superior from the capacity of fueling to the increase...
People just keep going back and forth if you have the money go buy what you heart tells you just know what you are getting into before hand and do your research that is all.
