no rubbing and I didn't have to roll or do any fender mods. With the pro-kit there's no problem with this fitment but if you go lower I would advise 255/35R18.
you should be fine just make sure you get the right offset +38 - +40 range. Like this one

With Michelin you're paying a lot more, 235/40R18 $226.99 (Pilot Sport 4S) versus $151.99 for the Yokohama. Treadwear is rated by each manufacturer and sometimes is underrated for marketing purpose. 280 and 300 are basically the same. 5 vs 6 year warranty, meh, once you are into year 6 your...
no rubbing or any issues at all. I have a second set of wheels and will be putting 255/35R18 or 245/40R18 ADVAN Neova AD08R on them so I can compare. Sometimes I look at the sidewall and think there's too much, but then appreciate it after I hit a pothole.

Thanks. I ended up getting some
18X9.5 +39 TSW Chrono 255/40R18 Yokohama ADVAN APEX V601. I'll post up pics after I get them mounted on Tuesday.
After looking through this entire thread I'm sold on 18x9.5", 38mm 245/40-18 for my HB Sport. But I'm getting Motegi's and they only have +35 or +45. I don't want any poke. Anyone have a 18X9.0 +35 setup? I'm thinking that will get me closer to what I want and still run a 245/40.
