So, my partner hit a pillar in a parking garage and damaged the door and fender. Was just wondering what the expected cost of such a repair would be? If it's more than a couple grand. I'll go through insurance. Otherwise, I'll just eat up the cost. The drivers side mirror also needs replacement...
You probably could get away with something like this:

I installed katana led fogs but the way they screw doesn't look right to me. They are at an angle to the ground which is scattering a bunch of light everywhere. Any idea how to correct this?
I had a bunch of shallow dents as well. The shop did PDR but they took their time.
Insurance said it would take 5 days and about 2k but the shop took 10 days and charged the insurance like 4500.
You can compare the damage to my car (its kinda difficult to see on black cars though)...
Thanks, I tried it with pliers yesterday and couldn't get enough grip to pull it out while turning. I will try it again though before drilling it.
lesson learnt the hard way :P
Too much, lol. Yeah I learned it the hard way. I couldn't access the screws from behind the trunk liner. I guess I will drill it out and see what happens.
Thanks!
So in my infinite wisdom, I screwed in the screw that holds the taillight too much and now it keeps spinning without actually tightening or loosening.
Is my only option now drilling through the screw and using screw extractor?
It's the bottom left screw in the picture
Sorry to hear that man, I bet our car's body is too fragile. We got hail last month and I had like 30 dings. My roommate's mustang had like 5.
Found a shop with good reputation and they took 2 weeks to fix it all. Paintless dent repair. Total bill was $4500. Insurance covered it all of course...
Im not a fan of the usual Acura designs but this one looks great, except for the plastic trim hiding the driving assist sensors in the middle of that grill
Thanks for the reply pandaXpress. I will watch a few videos on youtube to see if I can do the wiring myself or not. Will save a considerable amount of money for sure
Hey fellow CivicX fans,
I have been meaning to add some good lows to the car's stock audio while keeping the costs as low as possible. I am not looking for mad volume that shakes the entire car; just need something that adds a bit of oomph at lower frequencies where I find the stock audio...
I would have seriously considered a DCT Si. I was very close to pulling the trigger on a DCT GTI but was dissuaded by VW and VW dealers' shady practices.
Looks great! Did you add an amp as well or are you using the speakers with the stock headunit? I want to add some oomph to my car's audio but don't have the time / stamina to go down the drop a sub / amp route
