Thank you sir. This fixed my grinding and lockout problem I've been having since I installed the Type R Retrofit clutch. Shifting feels so much smoother and more consistent now. No more crunchiness on fast shifts.
Yep the paint is horribly cheap on these cars unfortunately. Paint was peeling off my front bumper in multiple places with only like 12k on the odometer. I don't race/drift/slide just regular city and highway driving.
I suspect that you may have ran over something in the road that caught on your front splitter. The same thing happened to me. If your splitter gets caught it will rip out the wheel well liner just like that and possibly side the side markers too. Can't say for sure though. Do you still have the...
Agree with all this except that gains from an aftermarket front pipe are minimal to none. (Perhaps if you are running crazy power like 400hp+). Some people like the peace of mind of having a 3 inch exhaust all the way back, but it's probably the worst performance gains you can get from spending...
From what I understand the OEM head gasket holds up fine once you have done the ARP/TSP head studs. There could be existing wear from before you installed the headstuds though.
If you worried about whether learning manual on that car will be an issue. It probably won't. 10th and 11th gen manual civics are some of the easiest manuals in the world to drive. Clutch is pretty light, engine keeps the revs up automatically making it more difficult to stall, brake hold, auto...
What fuel? I'm assuming you are on 93 octane since you are using Phearable 1.5R?
If everything is working properly you should be somewhere around 215-230whp.
Yes that selection of parts is fine on 91. It's unlikely you will be able to max out the fuel system on the stock turbo and MAP sensor.
Once you get the intercooler I would probably recommend a custom tune to get the most out of those parts, but it's not strictly necessary. I will also note...
My man I'm sorry but just because the trim level is called "sport" doesn't mean it's an actual performance built sports car. Every other economy car has a "sport" trim these days and it's mostly just marketing. Probably you will just get some different side skirts and wheels, or maybe even a...
The new Z has some pretty good power potential with minimal mods, even compared to the B58, but it's just missing something for me.
Interior is cheap asf for a $50k car. A $20k Mazda/Civic has a nicer quality and looking interior. Handling is meh. Steering felt more numb than my 2019 Hatchback...
Yeah if it's not slipping now it's unlikely DP will push it over the limit. It largely comes down to how you drive and the manufacturing tolerance lottery. If you push your car hard at low rpm or in 6th gear it will probably slip much earlier. If you want to be safe don't be hard on it below...
I agree with @ValkenDnB . It seems like the W2 would be overkill and probably a waste of money for you. While it would be possible to tune it to similar 'peak' power levels to stock, it would have significant turbo lag and you'll lose a lot of your low and mid range power. After all it is a big...
I wish my gauge cluster would show the psi of the turbo spool instead of just a unlabeled meter. More performance metrics in general would be nice. I guess you have to get the Type R for that though.
From what you're describing I would def start with a resonator. Should kill a lot of the drone and 'some' of the rasp. Ultimately you will probably not be able to fully get rid of the rasp without a muffler though. I'm surprised you would chop the muffler off a 4 cylinder Honda if you don't like...
No there shouldn't be any issues, it's a small enough change the ecu can account for it automatically. You won't be able to get the most out of the downpipe without a custom tune though.
