After coming back from a nice two week vacation, I decided I'd give it a go to at least remove the fuel door actuator (didn't take too long with just a small flathead screwdriver). Then, since it was removed, and I didn't like that there's essentially a gap that bothered me, I decided to install...
I think that might be my only chance at getting the correct part, but as this part goes faulty every so often and to make it worth it I would probably have to diy it (just thinking a used part might not last as long), it might be a while until I can make it happen. Thanks though, I was just...
That's a good question, the hatchback apparently has its own fuel door actuator as well. I purchased the sedan one before doing as much research and did ask if the dealership could install it, but the dealership I took the car to will only install parts they order. I suppose I could come up with...
Back in August of 2023 I took my car in to the local dealership to diagnose a problem with the fuel door lid that was stuck close as it wouldn't unlock/open when unlocking the car as it is supposed to. The lead service advisor correctly diagnosed the problem as a faulty fuel door actuator and...
Hi, I have a 2018 Honda Civic Si Coupe and the fuel door makes a fairly loud and obnoxious buzzing noise every time the car doors lock. It started by the fuel door cap initially failing to open when unlocked, and when I took it to a local Honda dealership, the lead service advisor ordered the...
Are you willing to fully remove the Lamin-X protective coating to show the foglights don't have any hazing? If so I'm interested as long as they still look like new as my non cracked foglight looks on my car.
If going with all season tires I would highly recommend the Michelin A/S Pilot Sport 4s, they definitely grip better than the OEM all seasons despite being in the same category.
I think as I'm getting older I'm driving less in a spirited fashion, but as my last 3 cars made more power in Stock form I'll admit I won't rule out a ktuner or Hondata stage 1 tune when my warranty expires. But I'm thinking from what I heard earlier I may fry the clutch if too aggressive on the...
I'm no expert on the matter, but even if you flash the car for another 30-40 more hp you are taking a risk to some degree. 300 hp/torque is going to require more of a budget, and that's an awful lot of power in my opinion to be pushing on these engines long term.
There shouldn't be any fitment issues with those wheels as they are ever so slightly more aggressive than the heavier stock 18x8 wheels. The only real difference is the offset, anything less on the offset and I'd need to research to be 100 percent safe. This is also assuming stock height. If you...
Just my two cents..Honda recommends premium in the turbocharged Si for a reason. I would never recommend putting regular in a car that is designed to run on premium fuel unless you want to risk some type of future repair work. Also, I'm pretty sure it says either premium fuel only/required or at...
