Anyone have an idea in what exact rotors I would need for the acura TL S calipers. I'm already drilled to 14mm and want to replace the odyssey calipers I'm running.
can i run the si intake cam with the stock hpfp? im currently installing crv block head and turbo. minus all the accesories so i am stuck using all my factory parts to get everything in. its almost back together just want to make sure we are good before first start.
Finally got ahold of some crv hybrid 320mm rotors and they do not fit the odyssey caliper setup. 3mm off roughly. Hits the caliper bracket. So the nissan rogue 3rd row rotors are still the best option on this setup.
I ran a federal 595ss in 225 45 17 last summer and that tire was really grippy. I'm on a 235 45 17 all season for the winter and spring. And I hate it. Might try a 245 40 17 in something this summer
Yeah I agree. If we had 320x28 rotors for the crv available it would certainly make more sense to use those over the nissan rogue 3rd row rotors for hub reasons. I was able to fit modified hub centric rings behind the rotors tho as I did have a slight balance vibration that is now fixed.
Yeah. I used a 9/16 drill bit so roughly 14.3 mm hole drilled. I tried looking up the rotor specs for the European models. But that information isn't listed in my alldata system or anywhere else I can find online. Which I guess if it was an easily aquired part and fit the same people wouldn't...
Crv and si share the same caliper. Odyssey calipers are dual piston. Single 57mm vs dual 48mm pistons. 311 mm x 26mm rotors vs 320mm x 28mm wide rotors. Pretty large cooling advantage.
Did a thing for testing purposes.
2017 rebuilt Odyssey calipers with nissan rogue 3rd row rotors.
Had to drill the knuckles to 9/16 and remove dust shields. And shave the bolts down a bit where they were close to the rotors but not touching.
car is a exl hatch cvt used for mountain driving...
Got some new wheels. Also dropped half an inch in the front bottoming out the shock body. And dropped an inch more in the rear. I'd say 2 inch and change total drop.
No rubbing. Gave myself a 2 finger gap on all 4 corners. I'm on 17x8 wheels with 225 45 17 tires. But I have ordered 17x9 wheels with same offset and will use the same tire setup
