So my KTuner with the TSP Stage 1 arrives tomorrow and I've never used anything like KTuner before. How do I go about limiting PSI by gear? I want to limit the boost in 5th and 6th so I can, hopefully, preserve the clutch for longer.
Where in the actual hell are people going to get the springs installed for $100, lol. I haven't called any shops yet but imma guess I'm gonna get quoted between $400 and $800 pretty much anywhere in the Boston area. -_-
What I'd read in another thread was that a couple members noticed that around 30% throttle was resulting in the same response as if you had the pedal to the floor.
Anyone experience any clutch slipping after running the TSP Stage 1 for a while?
I've been reading about the 25-26 PSI boost causing clutch slipping problems in 5th and 6th when accelerating.
I'm currently looking at the Eibach Pro Kit for my 2019 Si. Should I look at a different set of lowering springs instead? I don't want to do a crazy drop because a lot of the roads around Boston are hot garbage.
Also any experience with how much an install for the springs should run? I've read...
For me it was between the white and black. The rest of my life has a pretty consistent all black everything theme unless the color isn't available for something. In this particular case I went with the white because I wanted something different, my black clothing would stand out better against...
Normally I’m all black everything but something about the white with the contrasting black on the exterior looked really slick to me and my black clothing will stand out better against the white in photos, aha.
I just got a new white 2019 Si with 3 miles on it a couple days ago for $23,967 out the door.
Actual price on the car itself worked out to just over 22k.
Doc fees were $398, $135 for the TTR, and $808.13 for the taxes if I’m remembering all the numbers right. I’m in MA with a tax rate of 6.25%.
Oh. Appreciate the heads up on that.
I’ve got a lot of learning and catching up to do. I haven’t really been in to cars for the last ten years because the last several cars were practical cars. This one is a bucket list car for me since I was a teenager.
I posted this over on Reddit and someone suggest I post it here to add another OOTD number for people looking at purchasing an Si themselves. It's been a whole of fun in the last day zipping around but I'm trying to behave and not do anything wild until I hit 600 miles on the odometer. Does...
